After seeing some gameplay of Final Fantasy III on the DS as well as other titles, this little baby seems to be a decent console.

Anyone who owns it have any pointers as to what version I should get?  I see there's a Lite version that's black and, well, black is cool. 

I've never seen one or used one in person.

Also, is $130 the pricetag to expect?

$130 is retail for a brand-new one. I believe there's some sort of coupon out there which you can use to get a used DS Lite for $100. Of course, if I have any in for sale, I sell them cheaper ($75-ish), but right now, I'm kinda sold out...



Btw...I do own one (for myself), and I must say it's more fun than most of the systems (home or portable) that have been released in the past 10-12 years .

I would just buy a new one instead of a used one. Some people are rough on used one and might have damaged the touch screen being stupid. The DS is a great system, it is a close 2nd behind NES for me now a days.

I just got one for my b-day.  It's a special edition one, that's black and red.  It's real nice looking.  I think it only comes with the Brain Age 2 combo

Can you hook it up so the video output is on your TV?
