I know this was a while ago, but man really should've grabbed the Doom II Master Levels, Quake, and Wolfenstein 3d. Pretty sure those ones are fairly collectible. (unless they were asking some crazy for them)

Is that Playstation copy of Myst FS/FT? I don't need it but... I can never pass up a copy of Myst that I don't own.

I hadn't planned on selling it but I do already have it for many systems including Saturn so I guess I'm not married to it

Picked up a couple dozen $1 games while out of town for the long Holiday weekend.  Nothing too special, but I did find a Final Fantasy Legend II at a thrift store for $2.  A bit dirty but it cleaned up nice.

Haven't been looking much lately since Bozeman really seems to dry up later in the year.  Just stopped by a thrift store on the way home from lunch on a whim though and walked off with about 20 games for $20.  Highlight was the CIB Crash Bandicoot Warped, which I've sold off a couple times and later regretted not keeping one.

edit:  as a nice bonus, the cases also contained 2 extra bonus games;  Gauntlet Dark Legacy for PS2, and Assassin's Creed for 360

Did a circuit on a half a dozen places while out of town.  Everything was a buck or two.  All the Sonic shit was like $10

Looks like one of those Sonic sets is actually worth some decent money.  I have no interest in any of it if anyone is interested

Holy shit, I guess I made a (not video) game score the other week and didn't even know it.  While at the mall with my son we were killing time at the toy store.  I noticed a Memoir '44 Campaign Book Volume 2 on clearance for $1.

I don't even have the game, but figured I had to take a flyer on anything that cheap.  So tonight I checked eBay...

That is a nice find on the memoir 44 book! The game itself is actually pretty fun. If you find it sometime I'd suggest picking it up.

Yeah I used to be pretty read-up on the board game scene but the lack of time to do board game nights has tempered that.  Memoir '44 was on my wishlist once upon a time, but I doubt I ever end up getting to it.  I think I buy about 1 game a year now.

Board games are still my second biggest next to video games. I can understand how life can remove the time to play board games. I feel like I'm lucky that I have a core group of friends that I grew up with that enjoy playing board games with me. We get together a couple times as year to spend the day playing board games. As I get older and people start having kids and careers it has dropped off though. My girlfriend enjoys board games which keeps me interested in the new 2 player games that get released.

Not too many people I know want anything to do with video games. Without NA this hobby would be quite a lonely one for me.

I just bought Pandemic Legacy Season 2. The plan is to start playing that over Christmas. Pandemic Legacy Season 1 was some of the best board game experiences I have had so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Hit up one of the pawn shops around here.  They're kind of a wild card, sometimes they give me stuff for $1 a piece, sometimes they look up eBay/Amazon and charge that, or sometimes they eyeball it and throw a number out at me.  This time he gets on the computer, appears to be looking them up, and then apparantly says fuck it, and just tells me $20.  I obviously took him up on that

Hit up the thrift store because it was 1/2 off day and I had a $5 card.  Noticed these, unpriced in the front display case so I grabbed them and threw them on the bottom of my pile of other games.  Ended up costing me about $.33 each

Picked this up today.  Normally I'm wary of grabbing old games, but this one is complete and is in shockingly good condition for a game from 1980, so I had to grab it.  Most likely going onto eBay or an auction, but if you want it send me an offer

Never heard of that board game, but it looks sweet! You going to try playing it?

I've got the same board game. I found mine at a garage sale for a dollar. It's not the most fun but it's definitely cool to have in the collection

No.  I have games I bought over a year ago I've never played still.

My copy goes right beside my copy of Pokemon Master Trainer. Super cool to have but the games themselves are kind of boring

I have this game!  I've had it since I was a kid, it's actually pretty fun.

Yours is in much nicer shape than mine.

So for the first time in a million years a thrift store had NES games.  Granted they had clearly already been picked over, but for $5.50 I got one title I didn't have, and some trade bait.  I'm not complaining
