So I stopped by this local game store, they have a CIB earthound (for 420$) and they bought it off of some guy for 200$. The person only figured out it was rare when he asked why another copy in the case was at 100$, he then told them he had a complete in box one. Too bad he didn't have a yard sale so someone coulda scored a mega deal from an unaware seller!

I've been hoping for a wild Earthbound for some time now. I badly want to add it to my collection, hopefully without paying retail

They're out there. I've found four of them. One included a near mint guide. All four came from Craigslist wanted ads and cumulatively cost me less than $75.

I've never found a CIB one in the wild but found probably 10 at least with having 4 at one time. Picked up 4 of them for a total of $8.03.
