Jay Ajayi was my 3rd RB for most of the season.  A Dolphin actually helped someone in fantasy for once!

Board games at Good Will.  Some guy came in as I was checking out, saw the goods, and was crestfallen

Saw an ad full of great games on CL but it was several days old.  Shot him an offer on a handful of them just in case.  lo and behold he gets back to me. Turns out I was literally the only person to send him a fair offer

Don't have much time to hunt anymore, but I had to run some cardboard to the recyling center so I checked some thrift and pawn shops in the area and found a couple scores.  I was surprised to see that Spongebob game is worth something, so I'll be flipping that and the loose Legaia disc.  Everything only cost me a few bucks so I'm pretty happy about it

Wife gave me several hours to myself for father's day, so I did a big thrift circuit

Highlights

Phantom Hourglass & New Super Mario Bros. - $10 each
PS4 games - $5 each
Wii Shooting Collection - $1
Guides - $.25 each
Rest - $.50 or $1 each

And I traded in some other PS2 and 360 things I found for the carts, including Gloves' own Glover!

Imgur's having technical issues. Hopefully they're cleared up in a reasonable timeframe.

On an impulse I stopped at my favorite thrift store on a non-sale day on the way home from work.  I just cleaned the place out on Saturday but wanted to see if I had missed anything

Well it was barren.  But on the way out I noticed a library style cart loaded down with new arrivals.  And one side was loaded with dozens of games

Too bad they were ALL shit ass Wii games.  If they came from one donation then it is the worst collection I've ever seen.  The sole title worth grabbing  preventing  it being a total loss.  Oh well

I should go back to playing this. The start was kinda dull but I feel like it might pick up.

Found the FFVII and the Onimusha and Rise of Kasai at a thrift store for $2 each.  FF is missing disc 3, but for the price I wasn't too worried about it.

Blu rays were from a pawn shop.  Kubo is brand new, X-Men looks like new, and the Back to the Future steelbook is probably going on eBay

Doom I grabbed from acidjaguar during the trip

The rest I got from trading in a lot of the dupes I accumulated in the last couple weeks, in addition to some cheap blu rays I found.

The covers on the two ps2 games to the right look like something I'd be into. The ps2 has so much stuff that I've never heard of or seen before. I just picked up abadox about a month ago too.

How many different beers are you drinking at the same time? (Not that there's anything wrong with that)

Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Xtreme 4 is one of the billion Dynasty Warriors on the system.  They're pretty fun for what the yare.  Eternal Ring was a very early game, maybe even a launch title, that I think is from From Software (Dark Souls, King's Field, etc.).  I'd like to get most of the non-sports titles from the first year of the PS2's life.

The IPA was an empty can.  Our home office is a mess right now

Did it really take you that many Q-tips to clean it?

Old post, I know, but that's not an NES cart I'm familiar with and the serial looks like it's a US game.

What is this?  A homebrew, or an official release?  That Squaresoft logo is forcing me to ask questions.

So that is my prize from placing 2nd in the weekly contest last year.  I asked bimmy about it and my understanding is it was orginally donated by SwiftFrost several years ago, and that it is a well-known Amiga (or something similar) game that must of gotten a Famicom port, which was made into this reproduction.  I have never seen another copy, so Frost or someone else may of just built or commissioned this one piece.

The gameplay is hard to explain.  The best comparison I can make is a mix of an old PC game with Bangai-Oh, but without the giant ants, billion missiles, and truckoads of fruit...

Ok, thanks.  Phew... I thought this was something impossible to find I was going to have to add to my Squaresoft list of games I need to find.  Still, it's pretty cool though.

Random stuff from the week.  Everything was a dollar or two, aside from the three PS1 games that were 3 for $10.  One of my collecting goals is going after older non-sports PS1 titles.  I'd like to have everything released up until about 1999ish when the shovelware started pouring out
