I started making some quick reviews of homebrew and aftermarket games, mainly because I saw there's close to no footage, let alone reviews, of some commercial releases like 1007 Bolts and the fixed Piko release of Free Fall. Not trying to be a "Youtuber", just thought making these would be fun and maybe useful to a very small number of people and if anyone would be interested besides someone randomly Googling it, it's probably someone here.

Here's a playlist of the ones I've done (Black Box Challenge, Owlia, Streemerz, Spook-o-tron, Free Fall, Galactic Ascension, Eskimo Bob, 1007 Bolts)
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?...

The Retro Gem Miner is a parody game collector character I do for my friends, please don't take those videos seriously if anyone watches them lol.

I figure I should bump this for KHAN's NEScape, which has a Kickstarter up today. I have a few more videos out including the NEScape review. I intended for these to be shorter 3-5 minute videos but they're ending up being closer to 8 on average. Not sure if people would prefer more quick look/recommendation type stuff or more in depth thoughts on my experience with the game. I'm just going to keep doing my thing though. Honestly, probably 90% of the reviews I watch on Youtube are games I've already played and I just want to see what someone else's experience was like.

Cool. I really like sites that review comprehensively, like Questicle or VG Critic. Like you say, there's little if anything out there for homebrews. Lists including screenshots and meta info like genre and developer is as much as I've seen. Like NES World or romhacking.net. And those are very useful, but it would be nice to see more. So thanks for answering this need!

I watch your stuff hoping you'd review a game I already own. You're one of the only sources for Homebrew reviews and I appreciate your work my dude.
