lol your funny. cib sells for more than $20. The real question here is if this actually factory sealed. I have seen in person and I just get bad vibes over this seal.

Im no means an expert on sealed games..but I'm wary.. Is that crushing in the first two pix? Like on the spines of the box? Isn't that a sign of a reseal plus.. That last pic.. What the good hell is going on w the shrink..are those... Bubbles?

Someone with more experience then me weigh in.. Im gonna say that I personally wouldnt touch it

The seal does look strange, but it could just be age. Also, if whomever had it previously didn't take good care of it, the plastic wrap might look weird.

I can't find anything on VGPC, but im sure you could get around 20-30 bucks for it. Atleast, that is what i would pay for it.

Hope that helps!

Not really.  It's entirely possible for a game to be crushed with a factory seal.  And I've seen the ripples as on the 2nd picture on other games.  The best dead giveaway for a reseal is to examine the flap where the box is opened to take out the game, and look for creasing.  I wouldn't touch it either, but that's only because N64 is not a priority of mine ;P

I do think this is worth more than $20 though.

Crushing doesn't mean reseal.  Whitening along the box sides (which indicates the flaps have been opened), is a telltale resign.

Those "bubbles" are just waves.  Perfectly legit, my Starfox has them and apparently many PAL games are known for having waves.

The above two responses are why I asked for more weigh in.

Why are waves more common on pal?

Whats driving me nuts is how wavy the seam is and the fact that the edge seals extends past the edge of the box. Not to mention the y-seams are really big.

I did not see any signs that the ends of the box had been pulled out by a thumb inprint on either side. I also did not see any white creases but I weigh very little on white creases as I have numerous boxes that just show crease marks that are open and no white creases.

The front of the box did have serveral vent holes but they are more so in the middle and not uniform and on all my sealed games it has 2 sets very uniform one on each side, except the micro machines but thats a different seal all toegther.

Not sure actually, I don't collect PAL.  I just remember reading about people asking how it affected VGA grading and PAL guys were complaining.

Well N64 sealed collecting is not for people with the faint of heart.  I've seen so many seal variations it's ridiculous.  The only thing that looks a bit fishy to me is the seam on the Green side but I'm willing to take my chances on this game.  It's not like it's hundred of dollars and there's a huge reseal conspiracy on this title.

I'd attribute that to age.  Some seals look different from others nowadays due to the climate they were stored in.  I don't know what would cause it.. or perhaps it was like that directly from the manufacturer.  For example, a game stored for years in a hot attic in Florida would probably show different signs of wear than one stored somewhere cooler, like Maine.

Or it could be a reseal.

I'm not much help, am I

No doubt it's real in my mind. Storage conditions can make the plastic do that.

Yeah no doubt for me either, I just wanted to humor him. Didn't want this to turn into another Bournano type argument.
