WCW/NWO Revenge is done.

i assume you just have to win the World Heavyweight Title. If there's something more necessary, no big deal.

Winback Covert Operations done. This was my first playthrough but I replayed the levels a lot because I was aware of the time limits. It can get repetitive and the writing is schlocky, but a decent fun time overall

So I've been busy lately but I actually beat Rugrats in Paris the Movie the game today. I took pictures of beating the Robosnail but am currently too tired to get them uploaded so just believe me. I did it on easy so I only need 14 golden tickets. For anyone wondering there are 5 difficulties and nothing extra is unlocked by playing on very hard. I played all the minigames and they were all very bland, as well as running around the empty parking and running into every corner to get red tickets which was extremely repetitive andis worse on higher difficulties where you have to grind to get all the prize counter objects. The only funish games were the bumper car games like bumper car hockey. If they were in Mario Party they would be considered very good minigames, but unfortunatly they can't be played in the multiplayer since the multiplayer is just players taking turns for score instead of playing simultaneously. That alone would have made the game worth $5 but unfortunatly it just turned out to be useless licensed crap basically.

Finished Goldeneye today, my first n64 game haha. It was already done by someone else, so here's my short review.

- I can see why it has such a reputation, it was really well done
- got used to the graphics fast
- good music
- at times it was too difficult even on easy
- infinitely spawning enemies, come on. When things get hard, I prefer to hide and snipe to cull the herd, not possible here
- Natalya kept running to the line of fire in the rescue mission, really annoying
- some lag in places

I beat Taz Express today, also beat Flying Dragon like a month ago but was too lazy to upload it. From what I can tell only the virtual mode has credits, I beat several SD mode tournaments and but got the credits.

might be the last contributions for the year. I'm not even counting games I beat more than once or the Japanese games I've played but this year but i beat a lot of games this year

Beat Command & Conquer (both campaigns). Looks like I'm better positioned for next year though, 76% of my n64 backlog is still remaining   I also got a controller pak a couple weeks ago, letting me access the full library.

I used to play Red Alert two decades ago, so getting in this was quick and painless. This is a good port, though I missed some improvements from RA like queueing. I also hit some bugs with pathfinding, harvesters, and in particular the "go to group" long C presses. High res mode looks so much better, even though it was a bit slower/more laggy, I played in high res.

Before this, I gave up on Banjo Kazooie, sometime after beating the haunted house level. It was good for a platformer, but platformers really aren't my thing.

The LOD was badly done, zero or one levels for models and 0-2 for textures, transitions clearly visible, especially when flying. Graphically, it reminded me more than a little of Crash, though I'm not sure which was first actually. In any case, the use of vertex coloring, animals and similar animations made it look like a Crash derivative. On lag, 99% of the game had none, but some places did slow down a bit.

It also fell to the common 3d platformer cliches in a couple places: bad camera angles and overly hard jumps/thin ledges. I could never make that one thin ledge in the level where you transform into a croc, and the one over the lava, leading to a cheat book, took many tries.

I'm excited to get to knocking off some games in the new year! Much of this year was spent collecting and picking up everything I WANT to play. 2018 should hopefully be full of playing those games!

During the last month I was in a full immersion with all basketball N64 games.

I have beaten:

NBA Hang Time
NBA In The Zone 2000
NBA In The Zone '98
NBA Jam 2000 (all 29 teams beaten on Jam mode and playoffs on Sim mode)
NBA Jam 99

Hope to beat Showtime within tomorrow, I don't know if I have enough time

I'd suggest someone else consider volunteering to take this over if Michel doesn't show up by middle January

I don't know too much about the N64 library, but I can copy the first post and keep the list updated if Michel doesn't show and nobody else wants to do it. Consider me Plan C.
