Hey everyone,
I'm just as taken aback with the nostalgia of Nintendo as the rest of you and have come here to share in the memories.  I'm currently collecting NES sealed black box games from the original 17 releases.  If you have any you'd like to sell, please give me a ping - definitely interested.

Thanks!

If you're new to collecting, what made you specifically decide to go for sealed copies of the black box games?

Im fascinated by the fact a game that's 35 years old that I remember running into the store to see if they had my favorite title as a kid could still exist in the form (sealed in cellophane) that I would have held in my hands as a kid.

Sounds like a solid enough reason to me! That's a big part of why I collect CIB myself. I don't go sealed cuz I still like to pull out the cart and pop it into the system and play it!

Some of u grizzled folks may get a kick out of hearing Tyler -aka - defaultgen on NA- roast me and reference nearly verbatim this original post - in their latest collectors quest podcast. I thought about attempting to defend myself but maybe it's part of earning your stripes here and I can see their perspective - good stuff Lol.

Genuinely enjoy the podcast and recommend it. Dudes seem reasonable and genuinely like good people.

On NintendoAge you learn that everyone has opinions and you get about a dozen passes or so...even chronic antagonistic behavior is accepted as long as it's localized.

We like to butt heads a lot here on the site, but in a sibling kind of way.

It's best to move on and maybe even try to reason with the guy if you feel he did you wrong...also there's an "earn your stripes" attitude to this community too.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to one negative comment, because if you're really looking for top tier items at a better price than Heritage Auctions then this is the only forum to be really.

-------------------------

Got any of these for sale? Sell them to me. I also buy other NES Publisher inserts, and even GB/GBC, and SNES inserts too.

Lucky! Took months for me to get a proper rival.
