the topic was locked before I had a chance to thank everyone who worked with me when I wanted (still want😉) your ugly games!
The hunt continues. You would be surprised how many folks on eBay want full retail on games that look like hammered shit!
Heres what I got so far

Awesome! Sucks that people still want full retail on beat-up carts.

That Metroid cart is impressive. It looks like a dog got a hold of it.

I'm proud of my Power Blade contribution. The yellow really pops amongst the other carts.

It's honestly not hard to clean most of the carts up and make them look presentable.  It would increase the potential value you get out of items too.  Cracks and tears are one thing, but sticky spots and dirt can be removed pretty easily.

Love the collection so far!

On a more serious note, I've played EarthBound today for so long, I feel all tense and mentally worn out.
Then you called your mother and felt better?

I have a copy of Nagano Winter Olympics for the N64 if you want it. I used it to test out a bunch of new dremel bits, so it's a bit holier-than-thou.

Oh yeah, no doubt. If it's something that's easily fixed or cleaned, then it's no biggie. But when there are no-labels or if it looks to be ran over by a T-Rex or something, then it shouldn't be full price IMO.

Just like people at yard sales who think their dirty N64 and copy of Goldeneye without labels should go for $100.  There will always be idiots out there.

You can't tell in the picture but crash and the boys is bumpy like a toad all over. Wonder what caused it. Must be chemical.
