It's probably a coincidence, but I thought I should say something. I also apologize for spilling the url that so many have managed to keep secret.

There is no such thing as coincidences. Nice work

Now where's my popcorn? I can't wait to hear his side of the story.

Been chatting with the seller. If he didn't know before, he now knows what he might be in possession of. If he doesn't post more detailed photos, I think we'll have our answer.

And in this picture you can see on the lower left of the label there is something else under the "Made in Japan" text.

According to this thread, the OP lives in Newport News, Virginia which is not close to Herndon.  Maybe it is just a coincidence that he was posting all the zelda and test cart threads.

Ebay seller is definatlely trying to scam though.

I agree with this. Newport is about 2.5 hours from where the listing says the item is located. The rest of the stuff could be coincidence.

As you said though, the listing looks fishy as the label looks to be reproduction.

Yes, it may well not be the OP, but their Newport News post was back in September. In November, they gave the Herndon zip code: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/...

eBay could easily have an old address and is mis-labelling where the item is being sold from

Looks like the Newport zip is an old zip

I did not see that either.  Definatley lots of circumstantial evidence against the OP.  Hopefully he will come back soon to clear things up.

A little birdy told me that the OP has purchased a yellow cart game from one of the NES Repro makers on Nintendoage in the past as well.

The ebay listing was 100% done by the OP.

We know his real name and e-mail and they match the ebay username prior to the recent change.

No one bid on this thinking you will be getting a test cart. This was just a big scheme to manipulate the community.

We will leave this thread open until at least the auction ends.
