Do you already have some VB protos?  They're pretty damn hard to find.

As Ian mentioned, Dream certainly has some, but they're not going to be cheap.

I'm a little confused.  So you don't actually have any prototype VB games, just the rom dumps?  Are you looking to purchase dumps or physical carts?  Are you looking to trade rom dumps lol?

There are certainly some carts floating about, but as I said earlier they are not going to be cheap.  Dream has a few, but I know that there are other collectors out there that own others.  Have you tried the Assembler forums at all?

I know someone who has a ROM of Bound High he will sell for £200...

But you'd actually have to be retarded to be willing to fork over that kind of cash for semi-available VB ROM dump.

Erm, just a heads up... there is a scammer that tried to offload a bound high rom to me. He burnt it to cart (official vboy one) but it is just the broken version that most people know of. I think he was from the netherlands. Anyway, it would be awesome to see what ones even if only roms you have. Feel free to just write a list diamondeyes.
It's very hard to find these. Dream has some of the real deal on actual carts.

I have that crappy Bound High and one that actually works as well. On top of that theres Space Pinball and a couple of tech demos. I'm not aware of any real physical copies of Bound High. The source code was gained by a few people, most of whom didn't know what to do with it, and was compiled. There was also an interesting find of an actual Space Pinball proto cart along with a stock of blank official eprom chips. I believe a few of those were burned with the compiled Bound High in order to falsely create an 'original' prototype cart.

That being said, I do know Nintendo had some demo carts made for events such as E3 but I have never seen proof of them existing today, especially in private hands. Because of that, it seems compiled code, especially the buggy code, is the best most people are going to get with these Virtual Boy games.

I have physical copies of three protos for Virtual Boy. 2 of these were obtained when the official place that wrote guides for Nintendo Power was not renewed their contract because of NP's move to San Francisco.

I've had at least 3 people try and "trade" me ROMs to try and find out/obtain what I have with Bound High being the main one.

Why people think I would trade Dragon Hopper for a Bound High ROM that people have is beyond me. People think I own Dragon Hopper for some reason....

That's cool. Which two protos were those, if you don't mind my asking?

As for Dragon Hopper, Do you own it? lol. I've never found a solid lead on that game. Its really the last thing I need that I actually want to play, all the rest would just be cool to have for the sake of collecting.
