in my signature is a home arcade NES mod i did. the system works now, and im trying to button up the insides to make it safer and make sure everything is clean and mounted properly so it can be transported without damageing the insides. the screen is currently shimmed up over the NESboard,(see rough diagram) and a wooden bracket system protects the NES PCB from being crushed. but i want to put a full platform shelf for the tv to sit on. i have removed the 10NES pin but grounded the board itself from the metal that borders the NES board... i fear that this does not reduce the odds of the NEs from tv static and possible surges.i thought that an anti static fabric may be a good idea? thoughts and recommendations are appreciated!
