Serial #528393
Manufactured Jan-90
No controllers yet
No remote Yet
No game door
TV settings Door is present
All 4 feet are present

My wife failing at Duck Hunt...she may never play the NES Sharp TV again

I've wanted a NES Sharp TV for a long time and recently acquired one from a friend. Here are the specifics:

Model #: 19SV111
Serial #: 511484
Year: Sep-89
Controllers: 2 original black (loose)
Remote: No
Doors: Yes (both doors)
Feet: 4
Papers: No
Box: No

It works pretty good. I do need to replace the 72 pin connector, which I'll probably do this weekend now that I've located the service manual (thanks NA) to figure out how to get inside the unit.

I've included a couple pictures showing the front, controllers and rear with serial number sticker.

w00t! No problem on the pictures. I plan on taking more over the weekend once I do a little more cleaning of my new baby. I'll probably shoot some pictures of when I do the 72 pin replacement as well.

Who collected the info on number 15? Is that craigslist Louisiana? I think that is my wife's hometown.

Know any NES cartridge variants that I don't have on this list?

Somebody PM'd me and sent me a link to the CL sale site. Don't remember who, but no NA member has yet come forward owning that one.
One day we will know who the lucky owner is!

I just noticed that there's a Sharp 19SV111 currently on eBay.

It comes with the original operations manual, has all 4 feet, both doors and 1 original black controller. The buy it now price of $899.00 USD seems high IMHO but the seller is offering free shipping.

Here's the link:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/130615755...

For historical purposes when the auction goes away, the serial number is 519739 and the unit was manufactured in December 1989.

Not a problem. Glad to help. I wonder if someone will actually buy it for $899.00? Guess we'll find out in the next 20 days or so the auction still has to run. Too bad there isn't a "make an offer" button on the listing. I know people who would want this, just not for the asking price.

In other news I know there's a PDF scan of the service manual, but is there a PDF scan of the operation manual as seen in the eBay auction I referenced? If so, could you point me in the direction of the link and/or file? Thanks in advance

That's awesome you got the TV remote with it. If you ever want to sell the remote (insert Jedi mind trick here), let me know

You mention it's in like new condition, but does it work?  I recently replaced the 72 pin connector in mine, so it works great now. It took about an hour from start to finish, but it was well worth it.

Interesting...this one popped up on CL a few weeks/months ago in St. Louis. I can only assume you grabbed it from the owner of the listing?
Going to update OP now...
Congrats!!!

It works perfect!

One of my local customers got the craigslist lot for $300 a few weeks ago. it had a bunch of good games with it that they resold on Ebay. They sold it to me for $300 also. They are a great regular customers that I often hook them up with stuff so they offered it up for a great deal since it was going into my collection.

That's great it works perfectly. It's quite the process to get inside one of these units, but at least I was able to give everything a really good cleaning while I was inside.

$300.00 is a really good price, especially with it having 2 original controllers and the TV remote. Don't forget you're going to sell that to me (trying the Jedi mind trick again)

look at what my brother gave me for xmas! i found it on craigslist in Monroe La, and managed to convince the owner to deal with my brother since he lives in West Monroe. after a lot of email hassle, he brought this TV down with him this weekend. we are going to the Saints vs Lions game tomorrow too!

i loaded up Festers Quest and after a little jiggle it worked perfectly. Ikari Warriors II worked the first try but thats because i cleaned that cart last night.  the seller was the original owner, and bought it right off the showroom floor at KMart so she didnt have a box or instructions. IF ANYONE HAS A GAME DOOR OR A SPARE CONTROLLER IM BUYING
