I have a pink limited edition kirby pinball b&w gameboy, only 25 made as a competition with jacobs biscuits.

Wondering what this is worth as cannot find anything online. Even have the certificate to say it was won (1995)

Any ideas?

I have no clue on value. Are you taking offers or trades?

I remember hearing about this Game Boy a few weeks ago. I think someone was actually looking for one. Let me try to find that post.

eDit: Ah nvm, it was a post from a member talking about the different limited edition GB. Here's the topic:

http://nintendoage.com/forum/mess...

No clue on a value since I've just recently heard about this LE Game Boy. Could you open up the system and post a photo of the inside?

Several of the limited editions appear to have the Nintendo Gameboy writing and button text removed.

I would give you $100. It's probably worth at least $200 but that's still a guess as there's limited info to base it on.

I'd throw out a number but I'd rather you put it up in an auction here and see where it goes. I gurantee you get the best price from a couple serious gameboy collectors. You have something a lot of people have never heard of let alone seen. Such a limited edition should command a decent price

I think you should toss it up in the auction forum here on the site.
Very cool piece, I know I would love to have one and I'm not even a hardcore gameboy collector like some here.

Either way, I'd start ya off with a 100$ bid

i agree on the auction route. An item as limited as 25 you will get a lot of offers but none of them will be as good as open auction.

I probably wouldnt. Ebay would get you tons more bids and attention. Id advertise tge crap out of tge auction on all the forums though. If this was truly only 25 made auctioning on here would be a mistake. Items that auction well on here are LE homebrews, paper etc.

And this 100 dollar stuff sounds crazy low for something like this.

eBay would be a good way to go as well, but eBay fees are a whole heck of a lot more than NA auction fees. Also don't get the 99,000$ grey NWC headache on NA auction. If this were mine, I would list it in NA auction after advertising the shit out of it on this site and others.

I would like to emphasize the "start ya off with a 100$ bid".. It is very much worth over than 100$ being a 1 of 25, but I don't think a starting bid of 100$ is insulting by any means.

Oh def not insulting. That wasnt really directed towards your 100 starting bid lol. It was more of people throwing out the 100 dollar figure in multiple posts for an idea of value. Imo this is pretty one of a kind as it comes in the collecting video game world and should atleast pull a few hundred. Ive seen many a NA auction end dissapointingly low. Not saying this would . But id eather pay. The 4 percent system ebay fee. 6.9 percent with paypal and potentially get alot more. Logging into NA might weed out the lazy bidders who would probably bid if it were a simple auction as everyone has an ebay account/uses one it seems except benihana.

Also snipe tools dont exist for NA and that will lead to people forgetting the auction. Happens alot.

My prediction is the OP will never return. He will box the console up in an unmarked Amazon box and drop it off at a USPS sorting facility. It will never be seen again.
