I have the greatest idea! I am going to hack this cart, and make a portable Game Boy.. Like the FC mobile.. It will be amazing!

Wow man, your stuff amazes me man! I think I remember thread a while back when this was dreamed up, and wondered if you would actually do it, or am I imagining things..

I wish I had mine to try out.
Judging by your feedback, your wish has been granted!

It did finally come took almost a month, I think the postal worker walked it here himself.

I know that these are in very limited supply and I'm not sure he's making too many more of them (they're very time-consuming), so if you want one, now is a good time.

As far as I can tell this is the original thread, so this seems like the most appropriate thread to bump.

So I ran across this today

http://www.its.caltech.edu/~costis/sgb_hack/

where the guy mentions creating a Game Boy clone on an FPGA. Would something like that be a good candidate for a new version?

I would really like one - I've been checking retrousb periodically for one but it always says not available. I will buy one asap if available and if more are being produced let me know. If not I would also pay extra to get a copy - thanks!!

I may be wrong but pretty sure they always said Temp Unavailable on the site after the initial run. I thought they were by request.

From what I know, it take bunnyboy an obscene amount of time to produce just one. If that's the case then it is understandable as to why they've been unavailable for so long. I've wanted one ever since I saw it. I've got cash in hand if anyone is selling!

They've been available a few times since the initial run, but two things keep Bunnyboy from making alot of them.

Gameboy donors

and the time and labor involved in making them.

Keep an eye on retrousb.com, eBay, and *active* FS threads. Feel free to create a WTB thread as well. Welcome to the site.

Brian does not normally answer PM's on here. And this has been out of stock for quite some time, so I'm not expecting it to come back. I would expect your only option is someone willing to give up theirs. Good luck.

Gonna lock so no one else gets excited by seeing "RetroVision for $130" like I did.
