Well, it seems I have been floating around this site for a while and not contributing anything. I am a long time Digital Press member, but felt it was about time I shared a bit of the randomness I have collected over the years. Not trying to gloat, but rather inspire classic game collectors that there is more out there than just carts and systems.
I somewhat dedicate this thread to Limbofunk who has inspired me with his postings that are absolutely amazing.
I will start with one of my favorite items in the form of my Mike Tyson's Punch-Out Plaque; a one of a kind (I think) item that was some sort of prize or trophy at the event in 1988. It reads:
Nintendo Trade Appreciation Night January 7, 1988 Las Vegas, Nevada
It is signed by Mike Tyson himself and...well...totally awesome
Awesome indeed! This is one of those items that I'm sure you can't put monetary value on. I'd take that to the grave with me no matter how high of an offer came my way (though then again, you'd be surprised what people would pay for one of a kind merchandise).

I think you've already given Otto a run for his money!
That is an amazing item for a Mike Tyson / Punch-Out collection.
Id have that as the centerpiece in a glass display case with mint boxed copies of all the punch outs around it and other punch out swag.
VERY impressed, that things amazing!

Like everybody else said, that is awesome! I always get all excited and twitchy when I see items like this and look forward to seeing other items you have. Can you tell how the glove is fastened to the plauqe by looking at it?
Item(s) #2 are some Nintendo Campus Challenge Items. I have never seen (most of) these anywhere else, so pretty cool.
I was informed that the tattoos, patches, cups, ruler and Pom-Pom definitely came from the event; the other items (magnet [from a service center] and Super Mario World 2 floppy disks) I am sure did not. Enjoy!

Now i think this is even cooler that the MT Glove
im 100% sure you can drink anything out of that set of cups and it would taste good
Oh sorry, the floppy disks have "Screen Savers" on them; the Nintendo Employee said they were some event too, but kind of dismissed it as I had no idea what she was talking about.

"Absurdity is what I like most in life, and there's humor in struggling in ignorance. If you saw a man repeatedly running into a wall until he was a bloody pulp, after a while it would make you laugh because it becomes absurd".
Item #3 an Original Nintendo Power Magazine Store Display Rack. The rack is made of wood and holds 30 issues of Nintendo Power (I have the 1st 30 issues in mine). The decals are imbedded in the wood. The top decal reads "The Official Nintendo Magazine" and "GET IT NOW," whereas the bottom reads simply "Nintendo Power"
This is an awesome item that I have only seen once...mine
