Hey guys,

Just found this cable at Goodwill today, anyone ever seen one?  Any Idea what it might be used for?

Thanks!

Is that for the wireless controllers or am I mistaken? Seems familiar...

That's a really fucking cheap NES Controller [Controller, probably not Zapper or paddle or anything else] to Parallel as far as I can tell.

I wanted to say the Miracle Piano cord but it has a double output to the NES...plus it's missing some plugs on the NES side.

Mr. Nintendo... you nailed it! Googled the image, and that exactly what it is

Now I'm just kicking myself, because I think I saw the joystick and sensor in another pile of stuff... nuts!

Thanks guys... Mystery Solved

Here's a pic of the setup.

Photobucket

I really this unit. The throw for the stick is a bit long but you get a solid response. I like the response of the red buttons (the red buttons on the Advantage always feel a little sloppy). The wireless connection works great. The only real quirk is that the battery compartment seems too small for the batteries, but I did manage to get a set shoehorned in. It does seem pretty easy on the batteries too.

The piece you found is changeable. I have on that has db9 connectors instead of the nes connector. I think it's for the Atari or Genesis but I haven't gotten around to trying them out.
