Ok seriously, I know this game is rare but is it this rare?

I came in 3rd place on this cart only and my $150 US snipe didn't even register...

If anyone has this game for sale CIB I would be very interested to buy or trade.

*EDIT*   Link Removed

If Davidof1979 is a member here I appologize and will take down the link.  I doubt anyone would be willing to pay more than he did for this cart only though, DAMN!

It is pretty damn rare, I would expect a CIB to hit that much... but not a cart only.

I'd say it's a lot rarer than Rodland. I was planning on bidding on that one, but decided against it because I'm moving this weekend. My max bid would have been higher!

Seriously Dain? Wow... ok I picked up the Eric Cantona or whatever the hell it's called Goal 2 soccer game which is easier to find but still not exactly common for like $15 from the same seller. This one just exploded, I never knew cart only it would be this costly. I figured my $151.33 snipe (to be exact) would have taken it down easily. Guess I will know better next time.

*EDIT*  Also the database shows the Cart as a 9 and the box and manual as 4's?  How can that be right?

The box and manual values were probably taken from Heavy Shreddin' (it's the same game, different title). I agree, though, that it's a tough to find game. I'd say it's about equal to Phantom Air Mission in rarity...maybe slightly rarer.

What I don't get is why that seller still seems to be shillbidding on his/their auctions. Rubtux = reseller run by two guys from my understanding, and nietzeurenok2 (33 fb guy in bidding history in some of the auctions; winner of some, too, like the proto) is definitely one of the two guys. Not the first time, either (http://www.nesworld.com/cgi-bin/y... and it was pointed out elsewhere before, too). I dunno if this affected anyone's final price...not gonna check all the auctions, but something to be wary of when bidding on this seller's auctions...

Damn, I'm not a PAL guy, but I've seriously never even heard of this game. I learned something new with NES today. Cool.

EDIT: Who was the nice fellow who scanned a CIB copy for the database?

I think Jajaja is the only person I know with a CIB copy, he said he doesn't know anyone else. Definitely more rare than Phantom Air Mission, there's at least three of those floating around CIB. I can't imagine the winter sports game sold very well in Spain. Who knew

I've seen at least 2, pretty sure 3 CIB ones since early 2005. Always with a buy-it-now IIRC, so they never got a full chance at auction unfortunately.

I heard about this one a while back but had never seen one up for auction on eBay. I was mad because I missed it but if it is the same game as heavy shreddin, then I am not bummed at all. As far as phantom air mission, is that just a different name of a US game?

Ok I am taking down the link as Davidof1979 is actually a member here, under a different name. But Steven I will say the same thing I said to him on PM... it's not like this was unknown as most of the people here saw this anyways. Also only me, him, and one other person, besides the shill bidder, bid anything of significance on this as it was. Posting links of ended auctions shouldn't be done if someone got a great deal on something or if someone stole something before anyone saw it, etc... but I doubt ANYONE would be willing to pay more than the $215+ USD for this Cart Only. Dain contemplated it, but decided no, but he saw the thing anyways before I put it up. However I would have probably put the link up anyways, eventually, as I wanted to spark a discussion as to the value of this game, knowing now that Davidof1979 is a member here and wants it down I will honor his request. But again I doubt anyone would be willing to go higher than he did for this cart only.

The rule of not posting stuff was just a random generality anyways guys. It was to project well hidden stuff from screwing the buyer. Everyone and their mother saw this one though.
