Those 8-bit ones are pretty cool. I also am a fan of Boo. will keep an eye out for these. I'm sure they'll come to Canada in 2017 sometime.

Was very surprised to see some of the 1-5 at the local Walmart tonight. I got 8-bit Mario, Green link, and Donkey Kong and skipped on Dixie and Shy Guy. Didn't see any of the others. I'm probably gonna get the other 8-bit ones, boo, and maybe the yellow Pikmin. There are just too much to keep up with. They also take a fair bit of room and they're not exactly free. The 8-bit ones are pretty cool though.

As reported, the Targets around here (CT) are slowing restocking with the new series, though not all. Went to one and all they had were leftover series 1-1 and 1-2.  But then I went back to the one with series 1-5 2.5 inch figures and they now also had 4 inch figures out on the endcap.

I would have picked up Shy Guy, but I already got the 2.5 inch one. I'm more into the 2.5 inch and 6 inch figures. Still missing that 6 inch Metroid!

 

I would love to buy many of these figs, but they are really difficult to find. Jakks really doesn't communicate very well and for some reason they only sell a few on their own site.

Anyways, heading to target today to see if they got any of these in. Really want samus in particular.

Around me the Targets stopped carrying them, they just have a ton of 4in Warios...Toys R Us also still has the first series and sometimes has Peach 4in...but it seems like we never got as many shipments as the first series....and I checked all the time.

I have a feeling that the reason we don't see the newer stuff in most stores is they ordered too much initially of first few waves and they don't sell through. So ordering manager sees stock lingering on shelves and doesn't bother ordering more. I bet that's also why it's hit or miss even in the same city. I go to one target and it's all series 1-1 Mario's and another has newer stock.

It would be nice if jakks put EVERYTHING on their own store instead of a few random items.

Haven't logged on in awhile. I'm still keeping up with these, even though it seems to get harder and harder. I stopped collecting the plush figures, those just aren't my style. For now, I'm focused on the Micro, 2.5 and 4" sets. 6" figures have been discontinued from what I've been told.

Alrighty, I updated the list with the items I've picked up over the past month. I also have a few extras now. I'll post them later tonight in case anyone needs them. I know off the top of my head I have an extra yellow pikmin, Dixie Kong, 8-bit Mario and a few more.

Thanks for the updates and pictures! If you have your stuff on display I would love to see some pictures of it all at once.

Not sure how long the series 1-2 sound effects have been out but I picked them up today.

Saw some 2-1 figures today for the 21/2 inch figures. Cat Mario, Black Yoshi and a couple others. It kinda sucks as it seems my local TRU went from 1-3 or 1-4 straight to 2-1. there a couple I wanted, but I doubt I'll see in stores.

I'd be interested in a Yellow Pikmin. Also, does anyone have an extra Super Mushroom plush or can direct me where to get one?

Wanted to bump this topic back up. Should be a sticky to help the ones who collect these. Anyone have pictures for the ones without them to help update the original post?

Although I'll never purchase any of that stuff, it looks really cool. Between this and some of the other Mario-related figures and toys I've seen over the past five years, I can honestly ask, "Why didn't they make this sort of stuff when we were kids?" At least where I lived, if you got a Mario toy from McDonalds, that was big stuff and probably the only Mario figure you owned.

There are a ton of these now. I have four or five plastic totes ( I REGRET NOTHING!!!) of these, but I just can't keep up. I would continue to buy them if they had good distribution, but I'm tired of going into stores and seeing 8 Goombas and nothing else. Also, a lot of the TRUs around here skipped multiple series and Walmart isn't much better. I really wish Target was still around. TRU went from 1-2 all the way to 2-1. I'm really only interested in the 2.5 and 4" figures at this point.

They have an entire new line of track Mario Kart 8 'tape racers' as well. I won't be picking any of them up, but just an FYI.

A rough update to the initial post. A number of dupes are getting reprinted for the 2.5" that came out in previous waves. Not sure about the States, but the distrabution of these in Canada is abysmal often skipping entire waves.

Found a gold link tonight along with the rest of wave 2-2! I passed on skippy and Zelda as I have little interest in Star Fox figures and Zelda looked TERRIBLE..




 

An interesting note is that Link did not ring through and that seems to be the case for the other few that have found them in Walmart Canada. Obviously not even in the system, nor did I know about this figure before it was on the shelf.

Same as the others... $15 Canadian (CAD) +tax. They are a little more expensive at TRU ($17), although, according to reddit they don't have it in stock yet (ever?). Walmart is definitely your best bet but you may have to wait a bit. As I said above, they are not in the system at Walmart which means it may have been added to the shippment accidentally as there was only one in stock at random Walmarts in Canada. Who knows though? I've been tracking these from the start and the distribution is random at best. 


I also found a master list over at reddit. This is why I don't bother contributing anything to the internet    People post when/where they find stuff too. Even if it's not your hometown it often translates to the same stock.
