Picked one up today. Only thing is it looks like someone tried to scratch the not for resale off... How much does this hurt the price?

it hurts but probably not by a ton. is there any getting that black marker off anymore than that? I always get a kick out of people marking through them thinking its illegal to sell it or something hahaha.

91 proof and some q-tips might help it out. Thinking $35-$45 may do better or worse just the nature of NFR's.

^That will get it off if this label isn't the later mid/later life labels that dissolve when it hits it. If you can put a little on a paper towel and it wipes the marker away you're set. If you want to test it, put a drop of it on the corner where it's all black label and wipe carefully with a towel. If it comes away clean, go to town.

I picked up some 99% before to clean contacts and it seemed to work pretty good on the lable. The top is still a bit messy but the front is looking alot better.
