Donkey Kong Country 3 just isn't as overall fun as DKC2. The music is crap compared to 1 or 2, the levels are too childish. It's a fun game, and I'm a big Donkey Kong fan, but the game just doesn't seem to keep me coming back for more like the other two...

I'm a big fan of the series, I actually like all 3 of the games a great deal. For me, and it's totally nostalgia, but the original will always be my favorite. I hope I never forget how blown away I was the first time I got to the snow world, it was just so beautifully done, I remember thinking graphics could never get better than that.

No real complaints about any of them, though I would have preferred to have the original lineup in all 3 (Donkey and Diddy).

Just beat this. Put off playing this for a while. It was more fun than I thought it would be, but still an ok game. Decent platformer but no where near as good as the first two. The ideas for the auto scrolling levels were brilliant.
Didn't bother with getting everything, and I don't know if I will ever come back to this.

I owned 2 as a kid and my friend owned 1. I didnt even know about 3 until joining this site. Then i quickly bought and played it. I honestly can't say I have a favorite. I love all three of them.

they are what i always want in sequels. Mostly the same formula woth minor tweaks. Very few franchises do that well

I probably like the original the best. It's got just the right amount of difficulty.

I always found the original DKC boring but maybe that's just me
