No. I sent in a Marble Madness one 6 months ago and nothing ever happened. They did just get a new NES ref, so I think I might try to send a few in again.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to sit this one out. I can't get into this game at all.

Talk about frustrating, been playing this one for quite a few hours, had me cursing quite a bit too. Furthest I made it was to stage 10, the Qix became way too fast, just too bad I couldn't have beaten that stage, my score would have been much high because of the 5 time multiplier I had. I can say this, I hate this game, yet find it hard to put down. My scores were very inconsistant with this game, one moment I'd do really well, the next game totally suck and it'd go back and forth like this, sometimes I'd have several terrible games in a row, a few times do really good, but then right back to getting poor scores again. Hard game. Very different, but in a good way, pisses me off yet makes me come back for more.

Score upon game over 252,859

See updated score in a more recent post.

New high score for Qix. Can't say I'm getting better, but did manage this score on my first try today, after that though each score thereafter just got worst, eventually because I kept doing terrible I just had to call it quits. I may leave it at this, game is too stressful.

Score upon game over 288,499

Okay, never mind, forgot my damn name in the pic...

I think we can make an exception. You've been competing here for awhile and I think we have an idea of what your computer and controller looks like. Just post your pic as that is a very good score.

Indeed, post your picture Megan, there's absolutely no problem in identifying your score.

Its okay. I wasn't finished with this game yet. Really wasn't happy that I hadn't been able to pass the 300,000 mark, I wanted to at least be able to do that once, and just did. Got to level 11, it got way too insane by that point, kind of like Tetris on the fastest speed, just too much for me to handle.

Do you have your username affixed to the TV in the picture?  I can't see it anywhere.

I talked with guillavoie and your score will be acceptable with your username in the high score, but please make sure when you submit a score that you write your name on a piece of paper and affix it to your television.

What does it matter where the user name is? We allow people to take screen caps with their names written in MS paint. If its not acceptable to have your user name only in the high score screen, then I think everyone should have to use a camera with their name written externally, emulator or not.

Because the rules from the beginning have stated that we affix our username on our TV for when we take the picture.  We are making an exception this time.  We allow for names written in MS Paint because it's easier to capture a screenshot that way.

I'd have to agree with Mog, if you can input your name, and it's not something stupid common like John or Bob, it should work.

Well if that's the case, it's also easier to put my user name on the high score screen....I don't see a difference, sorry.

This title is an exception. You could either take a picture/screen capture of it or you can put your name in the high score screen. It obviously has to be a your username in the high score screen to be a valid entry.

Does this sound reasonable?

Personally I don't think it should matter how your name is in the pic, so long as it is. Written on paper, entered in on high score screen in game, typed out in Notepad or put in Paint program, or hell, even cross-stitched, so long as its your name and it is clearly legible. Also don't see a big deal with whether it is your username or real name, so long as the majority of others here know you by whichever name you choose to display for contest. Just my opinions on it. But whatever is chosen as legit I'll go with, even if it means replaying to get a better score with appropriate method of name display and username, just for fairness towards everyone else.

I would like to have the name in the shot if you are taking a picture of your TV screen to play,,, Its the rules and I would just like it that way,,, But it seems here that people have seemed to be ok with it in the high scores,, I dont agree with it but if people want it than what ever *shrug*
