hehe no i was really looking for double dragon cuz i actually spoke to the guy i played it at all those years back (after i turned in my text tho

)

and it was double dragon.. but we were playing on the SNES and not NES

i'm curious how many people had the same experience with DD

I didn't have quite the same experience but I used to own DD on SMS before I had it on NES and I remember thinking "What happened to two player mode?".I didn't find out until I was older that Sega had it added to their version.

lol, while I was reading the article I was thinking "isn't the two player co-op in DD 2?" Good article by the way! Well hopefully you can turn your girlfriend into a retro friendly gamer.
