Hey everyone,
I was fortunate to pick up a complete NES Monster in my Pocket.  It came out to $67 with shipping and inside was a pink Blemmyea monster.  How much is the monster these days?  And did I get a pretty good deal?

I could be wrong, but that figure only came with the game, so it appeals to both NES completionists and Monster in my pocket collectors.

It is one of those things that is not found very often, and less frequently for sale.

Yeah, there is 4 variants and I believe there is a difference in rarity between the colors.

I sold a bunch of series three MIMP figures awhile back. I think Jimmy Square foot sold for $130, all the others went for between $80 and $100. Blemmyea is the only monster from the series that was distributed by Nintendo and not Nabisco. Series 3 are considered to be the more rare and limited MIMP's.

I thought only one color was the exclusive color included with NES games and the others were released elsewhere.

Blemmyae is monster number 81, and is considered part of Series 3. The figure was only available as a premium freebie packaged with the Konami Video Game. It was available in all four standard Series 3 colours (neon green, orange, pink and blue), and had a points value of twenty-five.

i paid like $90 for my loose (green) monster a little over a year ago.

as for rarity goes, i have actually kept track of it mostly last year,
all 4 colors are present in the boxes,
this counts for both the European and American release.
my counting total of which colored versions i have seen most to least last year:

- 5x Orange
- 4x Blue
- 3x Green
- 2x Pink
