in November a lady contacted me with a picture of games. (First picture https://imgur.com/gallery/msCOMab) she told me $20 for all okay. She forgot 5 games no big deal. She lives right by my girlfriend! yesterday she found more told me $50 for the rest. She is having an estate sale later this month but sold me the game stuff in a pre-estate sale she said she might have more but I don't think so since about 70 games is a good size collection. She has the system still she wanted $60 for it and it was beat up. But this was a very good deal I miss the $1 game days!

What titles did you end up with? Anything unexpected?

Edit: and just noticed your image link. Nice haul.

The battle for the mind of North America will be fought in the video arena — the videodrome. The television screen is the retina of the mind's eye. Therefore the television screen is part of the physical structure of the brain. Therefore whatever appears on the television screen emerges as raw experience for those who watch it. Therefore television is reality, and reality is less than television.

It's nice to see stuff can be had in rare moments before everything went to pot where people feel if it says Nintendo it's like gold brick value. Prices like that you can afford to discover something new you never would have thought to try before and enjoy the mystery of it like it was 10 and more years ago. I hope you have fun with it.

I go to yard sales fairly often and these sorts of finds can still be made, though they have decreased in frequency in recent years. Just this year alone I've found NES carts (and Atari, etc) at two different estate sales. Nothing rare, but still useful as trade bait or to keep for Ebay lots. Many more folks bought these games back in the day than there are collectors looking for them nowadays.
