I have ISOs of my GC games loaded on an SD card and I play them through my WiiU in Wii mode with Nintendont.

My son... gives me Helpful Nintendo Hints that are far too complex for the adult mind to comprehend. Here's a verbatim example: "OK, there's Ganon and miniature Ganon and there's these things like jelly beans and the miniature Ganon is more powerfuller, because when you touch him the flying eagles come down and the octopus shoots red rocks and the swamp takes longer." And the hell of it is, I know he's right. - Dave Barry

I often use the Wii for Game Cube games, and I only have the Cube itself out for the Game Boy Player.

Well I'll be. I had no idea that the wii played GameCube games. I've never owned or even played a GameCube. I guess I'll have to look into picking up a couple of titles.

Be aware that not all Wii consoles play Gamecube games. It needs to have the Gamecube controller ports.

I sold my Wii when I bought a Wii U, since I just use that for Wii & Wii U games. GameCube looks way cooler than Wii, so I always used GameCube for GameCube games, regardless of how they look.

I have component cables for my GCN, so it actually looks a bit better than when I had the Wii setup via component. Gamecube for life!

I have a Gamecube and a Wii, but no Wii U (yet).
I've only used my Gamecube twice, so it actually looks and functions like it's brand-new. The controllers look unused because they pretty much are (I use Wavebirds instead). Maybe that would be a different story if I had a GBA Player.
I use the Wii exclusively for Gamecube and Wii games. It is modded, and it's reliable, and it's great.

I always used my Gamecube separate from my Wii (when I still had a cube).

I use a hacked wii to play most of my gamecube stuff, I do own the component cables for the gamecube but really only use the system for the gameboy player.

My TV doesn't have AV inputs, so I use an AV to HDMI converter for my GC and PS1. I've had 3 Wii consoles and they all randomly stopped working, though I love Wii games, I'll stick with a GC and upgrade to a Wii U for my Wii needs.

I have a connector that connects to the Wii and converts it to HDMI and use that for my Gamecube games. To thell you the truth, not much difference to component cables. lol

I prefer using my Gamecube console, it has that awesome little tune when you start it up, and it looks really cool.
