That was my first thought, too. Very impressive, congrats!

Question. So was DK64 a Nintendo or Rare release?

rare was a 2nd party developer for Nintendo. So rare developed it, Nintendo published it.

I've bookmarked this post for that reason. Hopefully the images stay linked

Incredible set! Love to see this kind of thorough work. Well done!

Now that I see the whole set before me, one question that has always made me wonder regarding the N64 rental exclusives (and I suppose SNES ones too). Why did they come with all the standardized stuff that regular retail releases did? Like the Registration card for Stunt Racer 64 - that would have been funny if someone back in the day actually filled that out and sent it in. How did any this (then) unnecessary original material survive on product that was supposed to be immediately gutted and put in cheap clamshells?

It is actually a ton of work, so many unique registration cards and posters that aren't the most straight forward.

Also there are about 7 different precautions booklets that are usually paired up with certain games.

His pictures will surely help, i just toss the ones I had no idea where they went into a box that is pretty full now. I know I only have about 2/3 the baggies but I stopped looking for them but I have a surplus of the white precaution booklets. I know there are tons of different ones but I didn't know there was a way to actually figure out which precaution book or Nintendo Power insert was plopped in the box.
