Let me introduce my hack of the original Mojon Twins' NES game called "Espinete" - Secret Task of Sgt. Helmet.
List of changes:
* All graphics and enemies are replaced. Some of them taken from "Sgt. Helmet Zero" on Spectrum.
* New title screen, new hints and ending screen.
* Now you played as Sgt. Helmet, who may to rescue 22 cute babes from evil aliens.  
P. S.: so, that's all, folks. I I did this hack because I like this franchise. Unfortunately, the music remained the same. But I'm sure that I would spoil it, because I don't have a musical ear.

Maybe you could be a useful and welcome collaborator for him.

Just an idea, since you are willing to test other people ROMs, and beta testers some times are needed and welcome members into a development team.

Best luck if you try. And if the answer will be "NO", you lost nothing, and you still offered something to someone, instead of taking something to someone.
