Hello NA Members, I will be recieving back in the mail my SMB 3 from VGA with a score of 90+ Gold Grade. I was wondering if you guys had any reasonable idea on how much the price would go on average for a 90+ GOLD GRADE. Serious Replies welcomed!!! Thank you guys.

just curious because I've never really dealt with VGA graded games. There is one going for $175 BIN at 75 grade is there really $1000 for just 15 points higher

You should check out Zelda, black box release and final fantasy grades.  The price will double from a grade of 85 to 85+.

90+ is very rare for a game like this.

Yeah, basically this is what happens with matured collectibles like coins. You have a very common game, uncommon sealed and very uncommon sealed in high grade. It is becoming what's known as a "condition rarity", and possibly if it is the highest known grade, it will be considered the "condition census".

This is bizarre, I see factory-sealed ones for around $190, yet there's a VGA graded auction going for more (which doesn't even mention that there's a factory seal)

If it was graded and it doesn't say "Qualified" underneath the grade then it's factory sealed.

Alright XD I'd start freaking out though if graded CIBs starting going for more than ungraded sealed, all other factors being equal.

I don't think there is a higher graded SMB3 than 90+ is there? I think you've got a world class game there Roy. If so, you have quite the get!

No, 90+ is definitely the highest confirmed grade of this title. It's easily $1k, and I think the $1200-$1500 estimate is spot on.
