EDIT: this score will be my final. had tried for one last run at it but missed one of the extra lives and had a couple sloppy deaths. unfortunately there is not enough time to start another attempt. i think that the million point rollover is in sight though; i will probably keep working at it over the next couple weeks. good game everybody.

Here's one hint: Loop Act 6 as many times as you can. This is the one time that getting dumped back at 6-1 after losing a boss fight comes in handy!

Probably the single most important, and difficult, task in a high score contest for this game.

362,500 Stage 5-3.Participation point for me this week. I miss the low scoring, furthest progression rules. Not a huge fan of point pressing but it does test your knowledge/patience.

Got some play time in last night and boy am I rusty! Couldn't get past Act 3 under the current rules in two tries! Played on anyway and made it through the 6-2 gauntlet on the second try, so I can definitely do better!

I've never really been a fan of point pressing either. I'd rather see more of an emphasis put on trying to complete the game than going for the highest score, but I guess it just comes down to personal preference.
