Meh, not a big gripe...just some hardcore, old-skool tendonitis goin on here. :\
Im using nestopia, and there are options for turbo buttons in the interface. What emu are you using ?

Only reason im using an emulator AT ALL is because i have'nt got a camera anymore.

I'm using FceuxdSP 1.07 I use it because I'm told it is quite accurate, and I use it for development/debugging on the NES.

I've heard the Nestopia is more accurate in terms of emulating everything about the NES.

Turbo controllers are banned for any contest, that's in the basic rules.

Anyway, different controllers have different turbo speeds and settings, so it wouldn't be an equal playing field. Also it's not part of the game, it's an outside device used to gain an advantage. It would be like allowing Game Genie. Part of the game, and its strategy is to hit the fire button rapidly. Even if everyone had the same turbo settings, it would be pointless in a contest. Why not have everyone use a Game Genie to equal advantage? The contests are meant to see how good you are at the game. So play the game how it was built to be played

This happened to me also. I think in cases lie this its ok to post your score at the game over screen. I was pretty bummed u cant pause during boss battles either.

This was the best that I could do.  I wanted to play Stinger more this past week, but I have had a really, really lousy week and haven't had much ambition to do anything in my free time outside of work.  I guess this will have to do.

-------------------------

My NES collection count: 757 games (16 to go for a full set)

Latest Purchase(s): Snow Brothers
