This came up on my feed today, and I might be interested in it, but no clue what signs like this go for, nor if it's a legit sign. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

It's definitely 100% legit, although I'm not sure about the price, because signs have jumped in price considerably in recent months. I'd guess $300-400 though.

No problem man.  I have the same exact sign.  It's in one of the old M series Nintendo catalogs, I'm sure someone has the image saved.

Sign is legit I have one in my collection. Recently one sold for $400

i had in one in 2007 - sold it for 25 bucks... man how times have change

It's almost 4' long and maybe 12"s tall at the highest points. It is a double sided sign and have seen some split apart. If it is still intact it's worth the $400. 
 

Make sure there is no damage on the other side of the sign.  

Hey all, I have a sad update on this. The person selling the sign has made it clear that they are looking for MUCH more than the sign is worth (at least according to the people I trust here). They're asking for $1200 for it, and that's not just out of my budget, but frankly well beyond what anyone should pay for this (at least at this time).

Certain signs have gone batshit crazy lately. I don't think the bubble can last too long but yes, at auction that thing would blow through $400 with ease.

That one is about the most boring sign out there IMO, not a lot going on with it.

Not a lot going on but it does have significant size.  Would make a good bookcase header or above a doorway.  Long and skinny sign could be preferred over a big square display.

Yeah I wanted it because it'd fit pretty perfectly on the display shelf at the top of my computer desk. Alas, $1200 is beyond my budget for such a thing.

The sign isn't big enough to be such a burden to display. There are other sign options with smaller dimensions, but they are somewhat harder to find. I would not mind picking this sign up, but for what it goes for, I would prefer to get another Superbrite or something better.

Does that Nintendo seal of quality come off often? I have one like this at my store without the Gold Nintendo seal at the top.

Yes, it can slide off.  Although I think there was one without the seal on top as well.  

Wow, I love these catalogs.  #10 brings back so many memories.  I refuse to be a sign collector because I don't have the space but I could make an exception for that one.
