This happen a few days ago

i went into the little corner store in my ghetto and i seen a Young lady about my age (early 20s) counting her change so she can get her baby a sucker because the Baby was teething.
Well i asked her if it was OK that i bought something for her and the baby , she said she would take just one sucker. I asked her again and she said that
one sucker was fine......
I Grabbed a handful of the suckers and gave them to her outside the store.
she was in shock , she almost started to cry and said that i remind her of
"Pay It Forward" she also told me that she thought people like me were just a myth ?. I Left her with my name , a Cigarette and a Hug letting her know that
"Happiness Is Real Only When Shared" she Agreed with me

Less Than 48 Hours Later Karma Came Back to me

Holy crap James, this is awesome... I love the idea and I always get choked up when I read stuff like this. I am so doing this starting, like, the next time I see a person!
I'm going to repeat this to myself now: "happiness is real only when shared"
I love it! It's like a new secret ninja life mission with good karma to boot!

I just wrote it on a dollar bill in my wallet so that when I see it again I'll be reminded...
ETA: Also, to help me remember I broke it down into the acronym HIROWS which I pronounce in my head like "heroes"

Isn't Alxander Supertramp the psudoname from the guy in that Krakauer book 'Into the Wild?' Man, that brings back memories. I loved that movie and the book was great too. I read the book much later after seeing the film, and the film certainly did it justice. A must watch for sure.

So first, lemme share how I spread the word the other day...
I wrote the HIROWS quote on a dollar bill and added "spread the word!"
I went to a local convenience mart and when it was time to pay for my bagel I pulled out the bill and said "ooh what's this?" and had the guy read it aloud. He read it and a big smile came to his face. I said "hmmm, sounds like someone out there wants us to do something good" so I put all the quarters I had into the little slots for the Leukemia foundation at the register...
Afterwards I shared the quote with a few folks at work and got some big smiles talking about it...

Here's my good deed story for the day:
I've been struggling with depression/bipolar for a long ass time, almost 20 years. So I figure I would be uniquely suited to help others with what I've learned in group therapy and at the very least able to relate to people dealin with the same. So I started posting replies at some depression-related forums where people were reaching out for help. I dug deep and tried to help them just by relating to the similarities in what we've been through, things that have been helpful for me, etc.
This morning I checked my messages and there were some people from the forums telling me that what I said really helped and was even inspiring! Wow, the good feeling from hearing this just sort of washed over me. I really like this helping-people thing, it's a better mood elevator than some of the meds I'm on, lol.

All It takes is one act of random kindness per day to change this world
i like how aceebb (Jeff) did way more then most did yesterday.
Spreading the word , donations , and making others smile all at the same time

Its one of the best feelings in the world to know you helped out in a time of need

A simple thing a lot of us can do is spend 10 bucks next time we are at walmart and plopping a toy in the toys for tots box most walmarts have. Although the child you bought a toy for will never know you are the one who got it for him or her I am sure that you will make their holiday season so much better.

A simple kindness done for a hopeful child is a precious thing.

A few canned goods brought to a homeless shelter or some old clothes donated to a battered woman's shelter is also an act of charity worthy of being blessed.

-----------------

In this day and age a lot of us believe that the world is going to hell in a handbag. No one here can change the world on their own. But a lot of us here can make a huge difference in the lives of a few folks who consider themselves without hope or alone in this world.

God bless you all and happy holidays.

DEC 4TH

i was in the pawn shop picking up some of my stuff that got stolen , then sold to the hawk ...

I'm waiting in line and see a lady with an Xbox slim
we start talking because i have a pile of posters with me , all video game posters . Right away she sees the Mario one poster on the top of the stack
i look at her and ask her if she ever played the NES , she was very much into Mario and her 2 kids were into Mario as well

Me "Hey did you want a poster for your sons room ?"
Her "Really? , For Free ?
Me "Yep , 100% free , how many kids do you have if you dont mind me asking?"
Her "I have 2 kids , both boys"
Me "Well , ill have to give you 2 posters so you can pass them around"
Her "Thank you so much , they will really like these"
Me "I Love Sharing and thought it would be fun to share with you and yours"
Her "Thank you so much again , my kids will love them"

as we were exchanging our last words , she thanked me one more time and started to tear up at the fact i offered and gave her stuff for no reason

just a straight up "Drive By" Gifting

It was Great , not only was she happy , she was going to give these away to her 2 kids , so thats 3 people in one "Drive By Gifting"

The surrounding people watched almost like they never seen an Act of Kindness ?

As i walked out , i turned around and handed her my bizz card
and told her to text or call me and ill be more than happy to help you get more posters and video game items for her and her family

She smiled and we shook hands

Done deal

Drive By Gifting on DEC , 4TH 2012

So this is what happen

Andy is hooking me up with a Genny system so i can game it out all day =)

Johnny sent me some killer sega gen carts and some really awesome looking DC games

Bounce also send me come DVD cases with custom artwork in them with some DC games
along with a sick atari controller , BUT it has AV out and hella games built into it

so i wanted to give a thank you to them and let the people know that the following statements below are true and real

Karma is a HUGE circle , but at the same time it can be a really small circle
that's why karma is always random and happens at times that are 100% out of the blue

Its very mind blowing to live a life of giving
you will see acts of kindness all the time and even if its people you don't know
you seen the happiness being shared and you helped , and most that see it that are
into sharing and spreading happiness , they know they helped

Karma is Real , Happiness Is Real , Lets be real about this happiness and spread it

If we all can do 1 act of kindness a day , to me that would be life changing for
alot of people from around the world

Thanks again

Glad you like em, good sir! I figured a hand full of Dreamcast games as a starter set would be fine since you just recently got the DC. Plus an Atari controller with built in games is always cool. lol

AceEbb AKA Jeff

Story is short and sweet because its very personal

i wanted to start to hang with my sister more and jeff gave me some great ideas to reconnect
with her

i sent jeff money , jeff sent me games that my sister and i played as we were growing up

to wrap it up , i had a great day with her and man to man and the woman here
i dropped some tears because jeff made my sister and i
get closer than we have been in a long time

Thanks AceEbb

On my family and on my word , i would take a bullet for you
