Please use this thread for having awards added to your account and discussion.  Future awards voting will have a dedicated thread.

GAME SERIES AWARDS MASTER LIST:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1ker6D3B6uZ0itwz_6hh6...

What is an Award?

Awards are small badges that you can have added to your NintendoAge account.

What do they do?

Nothing actually. Just a cool way to show that you have achieved a goal in your game collecting to other members. Kind of like an achievement or trophy.

How Can I get one (or a bunch)?

Make sure you have the item (or ALL the items) listed in the requirements, and post a photo of them in this thread! You can also PM a mod or Nintendotwizer, but they will still need to see proof you own the items.

What types of awards can you get?

There are a few different types of awards you can have added to your NA account.
There are some for:
-Having complete game sets (ex. Every licensed Nintendo game)
-Having special specific games or items (ex. A NWC cart, or a MAME cabinet)
-Having a complete series set (ex. every Ninja Gaiden game, across multiple systems)
-Other random things ( ex. Donating, writing for the community, holding twin galaxie records)

Rules for "Game Series" awards

Qualifications and rules for the Game Series Awards are as follows:

What is and isn't on the series lists and why

- NA releases only for what games are considered for the list.
- So our Europe members aren't left out, PAL counterparts are OK for the completion of game series sets.
- Does not have to be CIB.  Loose is OK.
- Looking for original or close to original releases. Ports or variants within a couple years are OK.
- Remakes are not part of the list and cannot be substituted. Example: Resident Evil Remake for
Gamecube or RE: Deadly Silence are not accepted and not part of the list.
- Compilations and collections are not part of the list and can't be substituted for individual titles.
- Re-releases in the form of Players Choice, Greatest Hits, etc. are OK.
- Re-releases for a game that wasn't formally released individually. Example: Final Fantasy V. Was
originally part of FF Anthology compilation, wasn't released individually until FF V: Advance. Therefore
that's when it is added to the list.
- DLC, cell phone games are not part of the list.
- Only one console version is fine. (As in you don't need both PS3 and X360 versions.)
- Some games have the same title. Example: Mega Man for NES and Mega Man for Gamegear. If they
are both on the list it means they are different enough to be considered unique titles.
- List will be updated as needed. Please note that once a member has an Award, they get to keep it. Unless they sell off their collection or want their Award removed.
- Smash Bros. games can be used as a extra, but used only once.  (Example:  You can't use Smash Bros. Brawl for all Star Fox, F-Zero, Earthbound, ect... only one series, one time for one game)
- If this seem to confusing, please just refer to the lists below for which games are required.

Conditions for getting the award:

- Must have all the games for the series.
- Must have at least 5 additional "bonus items" that have to do with the series. This is to show fandom for a series beyond just a complete set.

Note: We are open to what bonus items can be. Examples of some are: Game variants (label, screw, color, error). A VGA copy of a game can be used as and extra.  Any release not listed (Example: Mario Tennis, Mario Party, GBA SMB ports, etc...). Releases from other regions, pirates, demos, protos. Strategy Guides, promotional materials. Toys, T-shirts, Halloween costumes, valentines, etc..... Handmade artwork, tattoos, bead-art may be considered.  Please note that CIB repos and imports count as one extra not three, as they go together as a set.
Please keep in mind that these awards are intended to be difficult to get, so if it seems like you need a bunch of expensive, hard to find games to complete it, IT'S BECAUSE YOU DO!

The easiest way to get an award added to your account is to post pictures like this in this thread:

5 or more additional items (or they can all be in one picture if you prefer):

All of the awards seem pretty straight-forwards except PI, Jive Turkey, The Campout and Participation sections. I have my assumptions of them, but would appreciate some clarifications.

I do have a Gamecube kiosk with everything except for the original TV. It's in kinda rough shape ATM, but whenever we get a decent TV for it and get a locksmith to open the little compartment for the Gamecube we're gonna fix it up!

Here is the entire kiosk in one shot, unplugged:

Sign, with the kiosk unplugged:

I guess an external reset button was once here, but it has long since been lost:

Closeup of the console and the controllers.

Here is the entire kiosk, lit up. It looks a lot better at night

The sign, lit up:

Here is one of the little side panels for the sign. Pretty cool!

I do also have a Sharp TV, despite me planning on selling it. I suppose it'll be good to get the award just to let people know I have it and that it's for sale

Oh! I thought Custom Console required a fancy paint job. In that case, I think the studio's RGBNES qualifies!

PI was if you were logged in on 3/14 a few years ago, Campout was for attending the NA campout during certain years and the participation ones are for participating in specific competitions.

Can you put little descriptions next to each award instead of replying to each person's question for each please? That was one of my main troubles of the old award thread with hunting down each definition (potentially) in the posts.

Also, we need more Exertainment awards...like for the bikes, one for each. Call it the "Exertrainer" or something!

glad to see this thread restarting. there are a few that I'm close to, just not quite there just yet.

question - is there ever going to be a chance to merge these awards with the segaage and playstationcollecting ones? Like a master list for all of the sites? The ones here are handled so much better. And it gets really awkward since 99% of the collectors on playstationage are PAL collectors and their series, sets, crazy rares are totally different than NTSC collectors (which seem a lot more prevalent on NA).

Hey just a suggestion: can we take Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire off the list? They are just remakes and The other Pokemon remakes aren't on the list. Also it says no remakes in the rules.

"- Remakes are not part of the list and cannot be substituted. "

Or we could just add all the remakes I don't care it just doesn't make sense to only have some

I think NintendoTwizer added them because they were different enough (also only one of the 2 is required) So we will probably leave it as is for right now.

I would imagine most likely not, sorry.  I don't speak for the Overlord but I would think They would all have to be added to the data base which is a TON of extra work.

I added the ones that you've provided pictures for. Can you elaborate on the above? Any pictures of you participating in NWC 1990? We're not sticklers on these awards but there are a few that asking for evidence is a reasonable request.

I was thinking something more like this. Thats Robin Mihara (Robin on NA) participating when he was 13. He finished in third place over-all.
