Theres been a few people on here that said the database could do with some updating. I wouldn't know as I'm still new to collecting. However Dain (thanks again) has given me permission to edit entries.

Product codes, rarity, region, all of it. Because I collect PAL GameCube I will edit as much of that as I can, but feel free to reply here or PM me with new info and I will update when I can. Also, if any Mods or Admins see a mistaken edit, feel free to change it back.

Thanks everyone.

Put my vote in for changing NES Miracle Piano cart from a 7 to a 6. There are always 10+ on ebay at any given time.

Yup. If this causes some kind of stir go ahead and change it back.

I was  mostly thinking of Pegboy's comment in this thread:

One thing that would need an update are the developers of the games! For example, Captain Comic was developed by Color Dreams, but according to the database it was developed by Oetinger! (At least for me) http://nintendoage.com/index.cfm?...
Also, I never knew Castlevania was developed by "FonFun" http://www.nintendoage.com/index....

I would like to see Fifa Soccer '97 and NBA LIve '98 moved up from R1 and R2 to at least a 5 for each. As late release sports games, they only sell a few times a year CIB or sealed and are both just as uncommon as NHL '98 which is now R6 with a 7 for the box.

@nintendopower: Made the changes. Let me know if they are ok.

@Vectrex: I changed Castlevania, but Captain Comic has Color Dreams already set.

Could Sid Meier's Civilization (SNES) be moved down from R7 to R5?

There was both a Made in Japan and Made in Mexico release and there are tons of sealed copies out there.

All the NES KOEI games gave the wrong developer...they're all developed by KOEI, not other companies.

-------------------------

Got any of these for sale? Sell them to me. I also buy other NES Publisher inserts, and even GB/GBC, and SNES inserts too.

I think that ALL the games in the DB have the wrong developer

i dont know if you feel up to adding all of the SNES "major variants" aka license code variants ( -1 -2 and -3 at the end of license codes), but if you do, i have a running thread with the list: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/...

i also have a custom collection made with them, as well as NES carts that have -1, -2 and -3's, some of which arent listed as "major variants" in the NES database. http://www.nintendoage.com/index....

also, for some strange reason License Codes dont show up in collections. they're just blank on the list, but when you click on the individual titles they show up on that page.

Tofudrifter81: Tried to update yours days ago, but that code isn't on the database reel to add. Haven't checked in days but hopefully it has been updated to use.

Ray Bot: Already PMd you (thanks again) but gonna write this here. I'm taking a week off of work starting Monday. Hopefully I will have edited everything in that thread and updated it for collectors. If anyone has new info feel free to post here or PM me.

Here are a few things I have suggestions for.

1. Waiting on a Study Hall entry to add to My Collection page.
2. A goal of getting 100% front, back, and top photos of games cases and front and back photos of all game boards. There are many collectors here with 100% or enough combinations of collectors to be able to get the photos from. This is just from a complete archival point of view. Many on here have twice as many doubles than my entire collection, but I would be willing to help take pictures of some of the missing pieces.

Just to make sure you are getting quality photos and to prevent fraud, you can require at least 2 photos from 2 different sources. Also, you can make other requirement such as minimum resolution and background.

That's all I have for suggestions at this time.

Thanks fsped.

Silius: Added. Thanks.

M3: Good point. If I make a mistake I can always edit it. Any photos are a big help.

Are there any instructions for how to get photos to you? I don't mind knocking out a few when I have time. Doesn't take long to open a game and snap a couple of pics.

What I will try to do with game board is take a pic on white paper and have a tag somewhere in the pic with the name, as not to get confused which game I take pics of.
