I saw this craigslist ad for all of this Legend of Zelda stuff, I don't have nearly enough money to get it. Would $3000 be a good deal?

Ugh... I think that price is close to full retail, but there are some rare items there. Ive been trying to find the boardgame in that condition for a while now (that is not a million dollars).

Dunno, you could try bundling it with the Captain Harlock stuff though; some of those figs aren't cheap in animu-land.

That night the Captain’s granddaughter
Would celebrate her birthday
“I’ve come a long way,” said the Captain,
“From Lost Christabel this night.
Accompanied by my dog familiar,
To blast your rafters with my surprise.
Granddaughter, It’s a foreign mirror
Taken from the jungle by crime!”

The board game is worth a pretty penny if it's complete. I don't see $3000 in that lot though unless it's at full retail price.

$3000 is REALLY pushing it. I say $2500 retail. I wouldn't pay more than $1200. But, I'm a cheapskate. LOL

On a serious note, I'm still cataloging my collection. I'm not done yet! Thanks!

Personally I would probably try and grab this for less than a grand.. Depending on what store displays he has.. If he has some of the rarer ones (snes zelda shield for example) then price might come up a little bit or be worth what he wants.. But just looking at the pics he has up I don't see $3000

argh.... I had that board game complete a few years back. My parents thought it was a great idea to store it in the leaky shed over the winter while I had moved away. When I got back it was a fuzzy green pile of mold... never knew it was worth much.

That board game can be had for less than triple digits with little effort. I'm seeing maybe $2000 there retail. But as mentioned earlier, if some of the display pieces mentioned are SNES-era, that could prove worth it.

Agreed That board game can easily be had complete for less than 100. Love his quote of $6,800-$18,000....

He probably saw it sell for $68 to $180 and felt a couple zeros would make it more important. It's a nice supply of stuff I think a lot of us would love to have, but I don't see it going on that price unless he finds someone who doesn't care about price much because if they're that into Zelda they'll know what to put into it.
