I love the game, but it is so frustrating for me. I wish I was a good enough gamer to beat it, but I'm just not.
Lately I've been playing Super Smash for SNES and I can't seem to beat it either.

I love this game, non stop action and it was also very interesting to use the double controller scheme when playing on the NES as one player! I've beaten it on NES but haven't on SNES yet although I made it pretty far and the one I have downloaded on xbox live I haven't been able to beat either. The only downside to this game is the hurt it brings to your thumbs on the NES

This is a pretty fun game and I love the double control scheme to it as well. It makes the game a lot easier to play even though the controller setup gets pretty hard on the thumbs. I've managed to beat this game once and I've come close a few other times. It's definitely a tough game, but very rewarding if you can complete it.

Yeah no kidding. If I get pretty far the first time, I have to wait a while to try again because my thumb hurts and my hands are cramping up.
On the NES version I've been as far as the third level boss, but that's it. Not that far yet on super.

I enjoy me some smash tv on snes! Been playing quite a bit with my cousin lately!
I wanna say we did beat it recently but I might be gettin it confused with another game. We've been havin some epic gamin sessions lately! We actually passed the jet bike stage in Battletoads Battlemaniacs the other day together! That stage is insane! Especially with 2 players!

I'm a big Smash TV fan! The SNES version is a fantastic port with the perfect pad for it. I've beaten the SNES version, it starts over in Turbo mode going twice as fast. And there's no slowdown.

I love super smash TV. Game is brutally hard though. I recommend 2 players.

Owned it as a kid and used to play four controller two player all the time.

Never beat it until the 2014 high score contest, though.

I'm a big fan. TOTAL CARNAGE is the sequel. I like it but not near as much as Smash Tv.

That game was made for the SNES. I do like the Genesis version since it doesn't have the censored violence like the SNES but it doesn't compare to the SNES controllers.

However, I do have two Genesis arcade stick controllers. Maybe I should try that out.

I played the arcade game a ton at Mr. Gatti's Pizza as a kid. I never was that good at it, but I loved playing it every time I was there.

I played the arcade game a couple weekends ago, but my player 2 was my 9 year old daughter. I was gonna go broke if we kept playing, so we went back to the pinball machines.
Midway arcade collection has the arcade version on it and it's a blast. The PS2 version has good controls with the dual analogs.
Smash TV and Tapper make it a must have compilation IMO.

This game is so awesome. I played both NES and SNES and the SNES version is my favorite.

Keep up the practice OP, it's not that hard to beat after a couple games! I played a lot with a friend few years back and we did the game on hard difficulty + beat the turbo mode, it was a big satisfaction. If you collect enough keys and take the 3 secret rooms you can unlock the turbo mode, it's VERY challenging!

Love this game. I've beat it on the NES (when we did the weekly competition in 09), but only played a few times on the SNES.

I played it weekly on SNES with my buddy as a kid. We would have a competition to see who could collect the most stuff and I almost always won. You really need a good partner to beat the SNES version. It's darn near impossible on your own. Turbo mode is super fun also.

I bought the arcade game about 6 years ago so we started doing the competition on that. Still my all time favorite arcade game.

I've always played and loved the arcade version, but never really cared for many of the home ports. Great game to play with a friend!

I love the SNES version. It's up there with Wild Guns for my favorite 2 player go-to games.

I thoroughly enjoy this game. My favorite version was on SNES, which I beat on two player years ago. I enjoy the concept and also the ability to take different paths to progress. I WANT ALL THE TOASTERS.
