Cool! I'm sure the masses will appreciate this and I can only imagine how much work goes into it. Should be interesting.

I had no idea this was going to be in the ezine. This is epic, and very very helpful. Now I may just have to work on SNES

how do you make a price guide, recent ebay sales only?

and does this mean the SNES rarity guide might get a makeover too?
why is there no SNES game with a rarity of "4"?
it jumps right from 3 to 5

ok i went and read the ezine articles and i was wondering why amazon prices are not figured in too if you are doing a cart only price guide?
ebay alone is not really accurate as a price guide.

sometimes there are 5 or 10 carts priced well below what the one or 2 listings on ebay sell for.
(like kid kleets for example because it is valued at "$17" on that list and there are 3 carts on amazon right listed for under $10 including shipping and still not selling)

the price listed is an actual sold average price on eBay, it my have only been one or two copies in a month, that is why sold through % is important. Not sure if I am going to release % numbers in a free version, but I have been recording them. I also understand Amazon has this and that, but remember too some games will cost more!

It is only a guide and there is no way of researching sold items on amazon

you cannot make an accurate price guide with ebay "sales" figures alone, because it is 100% inaccurate

if a game is $12 cheaper on amazon right now than your list says and there are multiple copies available, how can you say it is worth $17 based on one ebay sale?

It's way too hard to factor in every Nintendo store on the net.  Ebay is a all around nice place for figuring out sales.

Well actually this one is a mistake! I just looked through all my research guys and when I researched this game, it had none listed on eBay and only 1 sold with 100% sell through percentage.

The reason for this mistake is spelling, I took the SNES list from the NA site and it has it spelled Kid Kleetz not Kid Kleets

Item Title Sold Format Start Price
End Price Bids End Date
Thumb

ADVENTURES OF KID KLEETZ SuperNintendo SNES RARITY 7/10
Yes
$17.05 $17.05 1 2011-05-16

Here is what the actual price should be for the proper spelling $7

Sorry to everyone for the confusion on that title, simple spelling error on part of the database and I did not catch it.
