Hello!  Thanks for stopping by and looking!

I'm currently featuring a collection of odds-n-ends - - pictures and details are just below!

... uncommon European version of Resident Evil 3
... lots of great GUIDEBOOKS ( make an offer on all of 'em, I can ship cheap w/MEDIA MAIL! )
... PS2 and SEGA RPGs
... NES hardware, including a ZAPPER
... plus more!

Shipping not included, unless stated.
Please see FAQs at end of thread for shipping quotes, and other disclaimers

>> That said, I can fit a LOT of items in a $6 padded mailer, so don't be shy !
>> One or two guidebooks can be sent via Media Mail for $3 - $5 !

(*Ahem*, however, items like that ZAPPER might need a box for a few bucks more...
...unless you want it to arrive pre-disassembled...! )

>> Stuff starts at $2 and go up - - and there's lots of great stuff in the $5 - $7 range !

Browse about down below and let me know if you see anything that you like!

NINTENDO 64 - Random Loose Manuals

$2 - Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six for N64

$4 - Banjo Kazooie for N64

$4 - MUSYA for SNES
 SOLD!

$3 - NES - Akklaim Infrared Wireless Controller RECEIVER ONLY
Man, I wish i had the controller for this.
This is for the Akklaim DOUBLE PLAYER type wireless controllers
Maybe you have the controllers . . . and are missing the receiver?
We should get together!  The controllers also show up loose on eBay fairly often.  Make them friends!
No way to test, obviously, but looks perfectly fine, no damage or scratches!

$4 - Nintendo Game Boy - LINK CABLE DMG-04
Genuine ("DMG-04") Link Cable for original Game Boy / GB Color
Good condition, some light marks on rubber connector boots, scratches on metal connectors, but functional and decent!
Comes with velcro cable-keeper

$4 - PLAYSTATION 2 - Ratchet and Clank Up Your Arsenal OFFICIAL STRATEGY GUIDE
A few stickers, one on cover, one on back, nice condition overall

$5 / each - PLAYSTATION 2 - Grandia III STRATEGY GUIDE
ONE COPY LEFT FOR SALE
Both in excellent condition, no stickers or marks on page, good, tight bindings

$5 - ANY DVD Player (related to GAMECUBE, GBA, DS) - Special DVD from Nintendo Power Volume 194, August 2005 !
Features the preview video from E3 in 2005 of "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess"
Other cool preview videos with crazy voice-over and music included, too!
See (actual) screen shots of the different menu pages for information on titles
Nice condition, can see a few light hairline scratches on the disc, but you have to hold it just right or they disappear!
I'd say it's quite decent.
Comes protected in generic CD case.

$5 - DS or GAMEBOY ADVANCE - Charger - OFFICIAL Nintendo brand, not a knock-off !
Works, nice clean condition
Comes with velcro cord-keeper

$6 - GAME BOY - DISNEY's Hercules, w/case
Fun game, actually!
LOTS of fun on a SUPER GAME BOY or a GAMECUBE GAME BOY Player (really, try it!)

$6 - original XBOX (NOT compatible w/360 !!) - The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay
Very nice, clean copy
Pristine disc, shiny and smooth!
Includes instructions
Nice case, some very light shelf-wear

$7 - PLAYSTATION 2 - Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance GUIDEBOOK
Excellent condition, no marks or stickers, good, tight spine

$8 - SUPER NINTENDO / GBA - The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past + Four Swords OFFICIAL GUIDE
Excellent  guide, was intended for the GBA re-release of Link to the Past, but would of course work just fine with SNES release
Also includes Four Swords guide
One discoloration noticed on back, near spine (see picture)

$10 - NES - ZAPPER !
Hey, it's a ZAPPER !
No introduction needed, really.
It's orange, it zaps
Works, nice condition, good, distinct painted label
Comes with velcro cord-keeper

$12 - PLAYSTATION 2 - Network Adapter, in opened box, with all INSTRUCTIONS, etc
Box has been cleverly cut around edge so that the back flap neatly flips up to access the inside
Slightly shelf-worn box (lightly scuffed plastic), but still very nice
Comes with manuals, instructions, etc.
DISCLOSURES:
This network adapter works perfectly and has been tested.  It's from my personal unit.
HOWEVER, it is missing a small plastic piece on one side of the connector that goes into the PS2
This in no way affects the ability to use the adapter, and a hard drive still can be attached and functions normally
There is also some slight bending of the static shield metal on the back, hardly noticable, had a hard time photographing it

One side, plastic piece missing:

Other side, plastic piece present:

$12 - WINDOWS / PC - Resident Evil 3 NEMESIS - Rare "XPLOSIV" European Variant !
Very cool !  This is a European-released version of Resident Evil 3 by XPLOSIV
They also distributed other games in Europe
It installs just fine on a Windows PC (no serial, etc. required) and runs GREAT !!
I easily mapped my wireless XBOX 360 for Windows controller to it and got my game on
No Keyboard or Mouse required!

Did not come with manual, instead it is on the disc
Pretty fun, and had some different gameplay and changes from the original

Installation window:

Actual gameplay screenshot:

Actual gameplay screenshot:

$14 - PLAYSTATION 2 - Final Fantasy X-2 WITH GUIDE INCLUDED!
A nice entry in the Final Fantasy series (Well, *I* enjoyed it!  Others disagree, but that's how Final Fantasy always is viewed!)
Black label, with instructions!
Great condition disc (original, NOT resurfaced!), good case, some light scuffs and shelf wear to case

Set comes with GUIDE BOOK in excellent, tight condition!  One nick observed on cover.

$17 - SEGA Genesis - Genghis Khan: Clan of the Grey Wolf - near-complete
All original, authentic case, cover art, and manual!
Great condition, nice manual!

**Note: it was pointed out to me that this KOEI game originally had a map that came with it; sadly this copy does NOT have that map, and so is only "near complete."
If anyone ever sees a nice high-resolution scan of the map, however, let me know - - I'd love to see it!

Bit of wear on one corner - -

FAQs

I ship anywhere and everywhere - - Canada, Europe, South America, Asia . . . !
If it's small and just one item, I can usually get it to you cheap via U.S. Postal Service "First Class"
For sets of items or large objects, I use U.S. Postal Service "Parcel Select"
ALL PAYPAL FEES ARE ACCOUNTED FOR IN PRICES.  Only PayPal "Standard" payments are accepted - no "Gift" payments accepted

>> Let's be realistic about shipping. <<
>> Please don't hammer me with "how much shipped . . . ?" PMs <<
>> Shipping happens, like death and taxes.  <<
>> Just accept that it's gonna be part of the cost, and simply decide to buy what you want! <<
>> One item?  Like a DVD-case game? Probably $5-$7 shipping<<
>> A single instruction manual?  Well, that's like a letter, probably around $3 <<
>> A giant pile of heavy guidebooks, but no games?  Hey, that's all print, so USPS MEDIA MAIL eligble, probably $5-$10! <<

>> Big 'ole box of all sorts of stuff?  Probably $15 - $20 shipping <<

THANKS!!

  • Everything is from my personal collection, and has been in a smoke, pet, mildew, and moisture-free home!  I discern no strange smells from anything I own, or I wouldn't sell it!
  • If it's advertised as a set, it's sold as a set - - I won't "just sell the box" or split out instructions or guides - - sorry!
  • ALL prices and negotiations are always without shipping.  Shipping is separate, and dealt with afterwards.  And, YES, I'll send it anywhere in the world, if you'll pay for the cost of shipping!
  • I prefer the U.S. Postal Service - - I've found it gives us both the best deal!
  • You're a great person!
  • I recommend a healthy amount of fruit every day!
Thanks SO much for looking, I appreciate your time, and hope we can do some business!

I am shocked you are selling the Secret of Mana you bought personally in 1994. I would have trouble parting with that.

Yeah, the save game on there is pretty sweet, and firing it up always brings back a wave of memories.  I just sent a picture of that receipt to my buddy who used to play Mana multi-player with me back in high school.  We thought it was so cool that you could play co-op!

Truth is, The Secret of Mana just sits on the shelf now, staring at me, reminding me of the time when playing video games all Saturday . . . and Sunday . . . and skipping school Monday . . . was possible!

I emulate games a lot now, too, and the physical box is becoming less and less of a need for me.  Wish I could get my original save game off that cartridge, though . . . !

Anyways, it's all part of my larger personal goal to reduce the amount of "stuff" in my life and lighten my load!

You gain . . . and so do I !

P.S. - Thread updated with sold items and new items added . . . look carefully, you'll see some treasures . . .

Bump for the fantastico-deluxe-ness of the newly posted UNIVERSAL GAME CASES with excellent color laser-printed labels!

Ah, and I think I will now start putting my "sold" items down here, in the bump/reply, in order to clean out the main post!

Much tidier!

-a2a

RECENTLY SOLD

And, it's amazingly good.  SO I need to be clear - - the manual is a professional reproduction by yours truly.  It is NOT the original manual.

Layed out with publishing software from real scans of an original manual I obtained on the Internet via the RepalcementDocs site.
Painstakingly OCD'ed on for weeks
Excellent grade paper
Professional color laser printed
Exact size of real manual
Same feel and heft of real manual

I made several - -  ($14, shipped in U.S. for the other manual)

Professionally cut and book-stapled

Perfect pagination - -

Do not fear, though - - the cartridge/game, case (yes, the original, genuine NAMCO case!), and cover art are original, however.

Intact hang-tab

Includes registration card, too

And, it is all in great condition, a nice collector's version

I do see a very fine line on the label (sticker residue?)

However, it is not noticable at first glance, and you have to turn it in the light to even pick it out - -

Great pins - -

Back is fine, too - -

Yes, correct, original case - -

$5 Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
- - Box and inner cardboard tray ONLY
No game!
Good condition!
Cleanly flattened and ready to ship!

LOT offer - - Take ALL (yes, all!) of these Gamecube Games below for $130, shipped in the lower 48 U.S.!

$30 The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Both case and game are in Excellent condition,
Complete with all inserts, including card about "Tingle"

$25 The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Complete
Also in good condition!

$30 Metroid Combo!
Metroid Prime for GAMECUBE (black label, complete) +
+ Metroid Fusion for GAME BOY ADVANCE w/instructions +
+ PRIMA "combo-guide" for both games, in GREAT condition!
Fun combo pack!

$25 Super Smash Bros. MELEE for GAMECUBE
"Black Label" version
Great condition, complete with instructions
Clean, intact case!

$20 Mario Kart Double Dash
As well, complete and in great condition!

$15 Mario Power Tennis
Clean and complete! (Seeing the pattern here, yet? )

$35 Fire Emblem for GAME BOY ADVANCE
With Instructions
AND the official Nintendo Power guide in very good condition
Tight binding, no tears, a few minor price sticker discolorations on cover, but ZERO residue or anything.
Comes with protective case for cartridge!

Battery works, saved games function!

SOLD
$18 Chrono Trigger for NINTENDO DS
also Complete!
Terrific, clean condition!

I'll just slip this in and see if anyone notices . . .  Someone noticed - - SOLD!

$65 Conkers Bad Fur Day w/instructions in Universal Game Case with high-quality color laser artwork
Cartridge is in GREAT condition
Label is PERFECT; there is one imperfection in plastic (see pictures below!)
Comes with instructions, which are in GOOD condition - - clean, intact, crisp pages, but some light wear to cover
New, clean Universal Game Case
I personally color-laser printed and professional cut the artwork obtained from thecoverproject.net (link) - - looks great!

NOTE the white fleck to the left of the "F" - - a small imperfection in the cover of the instructions

NOTE slight crease on back page of manual corner; very light

NOTE small "ding" on upper left corner of cartridge.  Looks like it was nicked by something at one point?

While my flash shows it off quite nicely, normally it is not that noticable!

As I said, CONKER'S is in otherwise excellent condition, label is pristine, plays perfect.
I am just a man of disclosures, however, and always want people to know EXACTLY what they are buying!

PENDING/ON HOLD - DEPOSIT PAID
$350 + shipping QOOB-modded DOL-001 GameCube in full-size ICEDCUBE case

Boot any disc, mini or full sized
Play emulators and ISO disc images off SD cards, using software loaded into the mod-chip
Game Boy Player w/official disc included!

**Why should you care about emulation on the GameCube?
Because the GameCube supports some of the MOST RECENTLY updated, active emulation programs out there!

Yes, the Gamecube is compatible on many levels with the Wii
The dev teams that are working on keeping emulators current on the Wii take the time to port to the Gamecube, too!

What that means is a very current, very well-supported set of emulators - -

SNES - - http://code.google.com/p/snes9x-gx/ - - most recent update in July 2012!

NES - - http://code.google.com/p/fceugc/ - - most recent update in July 2012!

GENESIS - - http://code.google.com/p/genplus-gx/ - - most recent update in July 2012!

DETAILS and ITEMS INCLUDED IN PACKAGE - -

+ "Ice Orange" ICEDCUBE case - - fits full-size DVDs as well as minis,
+ original DOL-001 GameCube, with component output
+ Custom black vinyl dye front plate
QOOB Pro mod chip
   - Run any disc, both burned and commercial
   - Has onboard memory, loaded with GCOS and latest SWISS system, which allows for loading emulators from SD cards
+ WiiSD Memory Adapter card reader device (for SD card)
+ 4GB PNY SD Card, formatted, loaded and ready to go
+ Platinum WaveBird w/receiver
+ Game Boy Player
+ official Game Boy Player Start-Up Disc (few light scratches on disc, but has never affected its ability to boot, always works!)
+ official Link Cable for Game Boy Advance to GameCube
+ matching orange MadCatz memory card
+ 5 blank miniDVDs to get you started for whatever you want to burn
+ Power unit, composite video cable

"QOOB-what?"

The QOOB is a mod chip that gets soldered INTO the Gamecube system
In addition to allowing you to boot ANY burned or retail disc, it also has a memory slot to allow for storing programs.

You store a lightweight program in the memory called SWISS, which is also under current development (most recent release earlier this year)
That program lets you run emulators, ISO disc images, and other programs right off the SD card to Gamecube adapter!

VERY slick!

I personally modded this GameCube myself a while back - - you can read about it here:

http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/...

It's been my main gameroom unit now for a while, but I've got a new (very exciting!) GameCube project I am starting (black lights! LEDs! crazy!), so I am moving this unit on . . .
This setup is pretty awesome.  Virtually endless entertainment here.

I made a quick video demonstrating how to load the emulators from the SD card, boot homebrews, backups, etc. - -

Sorry, it's a silent movie - - I tried to put some music in it, but YouTube blocked the version with music!
Put something on you like to listen to, and watch for details on using the modded GameCube.

PM me if you are serious and have questions, and we can have a longer conversation!

**Free training and question and answer sessions come standard with your purchase, too!

AND, some more guides and manuals

$8 - KIRBY 64 The Crystal Shards - Prima's Official Strategy Guide

Nice copy!  Some minor shelf wear to cover, price tag sticker still on it

$14 - Zelda Link to the Past and Four Swords Adventure - OFFICIAL NINTENDO POWER Guide

Nice copy - - still has the WINDWAKER poster in the back!

Some sticker damage to the pigment of the cover observered - - it DID NOT tear the cover or anything, though!  Just discolored it?

NO sticky residue or anything, totally clean, just lightly discolored!

Nice copy - - very cool!

$8 - Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga - Official NINTENDO POWER Guide

$8 - NINTENDO GAMES SECRETS - Rusel DeMaria

The first in "SECRETS OF THE GAMES" series of three that were printed back in the day
Has a special section for the POWER GLOVE !

Note that someone scribbled on the side in pencil (?) - -

No writing inside the book anywhere, however - - just there on the edge!

Good copy, tight spine, minimum wear to cover!
