Look at this "cheap" Atari stuff that was posted on Craigslist. What a "great" deal.

I have about 4-5 different Atari systems and the total amount doesn't even come near that price. Hell, even a rare 'heavy sixer' isn't worth that much! He said OBO... I wonder what he'd say if I offered him $20... lol.

I'd call and ask if he misplaced the decimal point. If he says no, then when hanging up advise him to I dunno, use google or even ebay for 30seconds if you're serious about selling and have a nice day--bye.

Awhile back there was another watertown ad for a complete NES system for $1000, I think it's the same guy because the number looks similar. I called just for the hell of it and he told me that he couldn't settle for less because he got the system appraised.

Appraised by who I wonder? Unless it's minty, unopened, non-damaged, non-circulated maybe... but I highly doubt it's in that kind of condition and also doubt it was appraised. I call shenanigans on the seller.

@ rhetoric614 , If it were one of the 1977+ heavy sixers, I might consider 85-150... but if it's like every one that's on Ebay, $20 should be the best low-end offer IMO. $1000+ is insane.
