Like the topic says.  I was wondering if there is anybody here that knows how to make a video game (nes) from scratch?  I would rather not discuss my ideas openly tho because i really dont want anybody stealing my ideas.  I will tell all after i get some feedback.

I have no idea how to make NES games, not a clue.  I had this one idea a long time ago about 2 plumbers who jump around and save a princess.  Someone beat me to it though.

There's tons of ideas out there, the problem is finding programmers with the free time to program them.

Yeah really.  Its impossible to find someone with freetime let alone someone who knows how.  Oh and TN  i was trying to be serious.

I think I vaguely remember something about collecting underpants, but I don't recall what came after that.

Basically to write a NES game you first need to learn 6502 assembly language. There is no simple creator like GameMaker, and no higher level languages like c/java. That is generally enough to scare away most people

But if you have good game ideas, if you develop them completely you are far more likely to find an interested programmer/artist/musician. Completely means full screen layouts or screenshots, lots of finished graphics, all game mechanics figured out, if its an RPG you need every map and every bit of text, etc. This will be pages of work, not just a few sentences like "game where people shoot things".

c++ wouldn't help you much except for maybe training your brain to logic and functions. 6502 is very rootamentry, essentially machine language. In c++ you can right functions, but in 6502 you sorta have to tell the computer what a function is and how to do it.
