I forget if it was JaredKK or Justabum. But one of them told me about it through an ebay message in like 2007. I promptly joined. One of the first 100 people here! And it's been my collecting home since!

I found it thanks to IGN of all places. They used to have a retro page that mentioned Battle Kid when it was first released. I couldn't believe there was a new NES game. Thus I was introduced to Nintendo Age and Homebrew. I lurked here and finally joined after beating Battle Kid in 2014.

I bought a lemon SNES and tried to find a way to fix it, signed up just to ask that one question. Another forum I had frequented for a good 10 years shut down for good around that time, so I just started posting here regularly.

I'm fairly certain Google brought me here during a search for something, of which, I don't recall.

Got the inside scoop from a stripper up in Indiana as I was wearing my "Back in the Day" Pac man t shirt and I tipped well, chic was a gamer as the way she toyed with me and made a lot of references to joysticks and high scores on donkey kong. Said her bastard son was big into Nintendo and skateboards and this site was mentioned the rest is *ahem* history. Little did I know at the time whom I was dealing with until after I joined up.
