I received my AVS in the mail yesterday.  It powers up fine, and I can access the main menu without a problem.  However, the Nintendo cartridges do not lock into place (like a regular Nintendo), and the system does not seem to be recognizing the game cartridges at all.  Has anyone else experienced this problem?  Wondering if the product is defective or if this is something that I can possibly trouble-shoot.

Are you jamming them in there? I got mine today also and had to really force the carts in.

The connector really is tight. I was under the impression that a redesign was happening.

I've had and used mine since initial launch. It loosened up a bit, but you still have to be pretty aggressive getting them to seat.

Just lay the cart in the tray, gently push up to the connector, and then with thumbs on both sides, push firmly into the connector itself.

If it's a green strip game, push the left side first (assuming you have the first run connector AVS.)

This thing is awesome. I am playing NES games on a 65 inch HD TV with built in game genie. Very nice!

I had an erection for over 4 hours when mine came in yesterday. Tis glorious.

But yeah I ran into the same problem when trying to fire up a game.
