I would have sworn on many things that I had backed this. Turns out I foolishly did not, and I apologize. Now also looking forward to details for non-backer purchases!

Same here. At the time, I didn't have a card that could back Kiskstarters. Bank would deny the transaction.

I can't give a specific release date because there are a bunch of factors that can affect it, but basically as soon as it's ready to go to backers cartridges will be made available to the public as well. I put a mailing list on the site so people could get a one time e-mail when the game is released, you can sign up here if you want that e-mail:

Anyone start playing the Beta? I haven't had the time to mess with it yet but I"m pretty excited to give it a try.

Normally I probably wouldn't be getting a copy, but since you literally dressed up as a lizard in a full blown lizard costume then count me in!

I tried it out with my kids briefly. I thought the controls were a bit slippery and the kids were having a really hard time staying on platforms. Looks like this has already been addressed with newer builds.

I felt this a little too, but then I pressed down to control the landings and it started going a lot smoother.

EDIT: I have only played what he sent the kickstarter backers last week.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at the Let's Play Gaming Expo last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Oh, my WTB thread is very popular. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wastoids, dweebies, Richard craniums - they all adore it. They think it's a righteous thread.
I'd also like to add that I've got my father's gun and a *scorching* price guide for aftermarket Nintendo games.
Between Dragon Warriors and nothing... I'll take Dragon Warriors - for any of my FT/FS/FO items.

Does it feel like the original demo from the KS? That was slippery, to a degree, but once I got used to it it felt great.

I played the beta for a few hours. I'm grateful he decided to tighten the slip physics a bit; after the new build I still found playing the game very challenging but I was falling off of platforms only every once in a while instead of virtually every time lol. It seems like a good change. For all I know, he very cleverly used psyops on his userbase to get us to accept any slip physics at all in this game, LOL.   I am going to commit myself to finishing this game at some point; but it will take some dedication. I'm not terribly good at remembering where I've been, so it'll be a fresh challenge.

I'm loving it. It's expansive. I've been exploring and drawing on graph paper for a bit, and I'm just on the first world (Recto). Really reminds me of playing Metroid back in the day, trying to figure things out without any help because it's new. I see speedruns of Lizard in the future.

EDIT: Think I beat the beta? Good times.
DOUBLE EDIT: Wrong. Now halfway through.

Now I beat it.

Great game. I will be giving this guy out as gifts in the near future. Took me back to the good ol' days.

My lizard is the lizard of boner. I can't even remember what level I contributed to on the kickstarter, you know, because Obama was still President.

Just noticed the ROM is available to purchase for $10. I might bite on that. I'd rather pay for a cart though...

Edit: Of course, that was already posted to the front page 2 days ago.

I'm counting down the days to buy a copy of this since I didn't get in the ground floor on the KS.
If Lizard is like any of Brad's other works, I'm genuinely excited to see what he's done with this cart.
This has been the most exciting homebrew since Super Russian Roulette for the NES.
