What struck me immediately when I read this article was the second paragraph.. "...Toronto show back in April." I live in Toronto proper and wasn't aware of this show at all. I would have been out there supporting and checking it out. Maybe I could wear a gaming shirt outside the house for once. Anyone out there have info about this and upcoming meets/shows in Toronto?

A good feature article btw. Thanks

I don't know specifics, but if you aren't a member at cgcc.ca you definitely need to head over there and join up as a start. They announce and talk about most Canadian shows over there, and just as with everything else in Canada, it's *very* Ontario-centric.

-------------------------

My mantra, as worded by SamSpade on 06/12/12:
I don't resell to fund my collection, I don't treat this hobby like a second job, I don't care if my collection is worth ten bucks or ten thousand because I never plan on selling it. Seriously, what does the value have to do with anything if you never plan on selling? Speculation doesn't mean jack shit to me at this point, I just want to play my nes games...

The Toronto show kicked ass, i picked up a bunch of great stuff there, you should lurk on cgcc.ca from time to time to see whats up. There is usually a big swap meet thingy every summer/spring somewhere in the GTA, the first one i went to last year was in t.o, this one was in brampton. Its a good time for sure.

Yeah he got my sqoon box, lol.
And if I recall, a Nobunaga 2 with map and manual from the guy at the table beside me.  Note to self, bring extra cash at the beginning of the show.

yep that was me. The boxed sqoon was a steal for $10. That Nobunaga cart had the hugest crack in the front right behind the sticker and it was all peeled, but the map and manual were super mint, not bad for $10 either

FYI, it looks like there will likely be another show in Toronto on Oct 13th.
Judging by my current progress, I really doubt I'll have anything exclusive for that show.

Awesome.  Thanks for the tip.  Looks like it's not 100% as yet, but if it ends up going on I will have to find a way to Brampton that day
