Never noticed this till now... why do posts in the forum have a different timestamp from the actual "system time" of this website. Just leaves me confused, haha.

PM sent. Since it is a question that others may have I will post the answer I gave you here.

Since you put your profile location in California, all of your posts show your local time which is Pacific. I am in Oklahoma so all of my posts show my local time which is Central. The website is based in North Carolina so the "Official Forum Time" is Eastern. Since we have members from all around the world, the "NA Time" clock is on the top of every page. The forum time being displayed to everyone is very useful in a situation like the one you just had. Most, if not all, of the NA auctions state that they end at XX:XX NA time, that way everyone is on the same page. My local time is 11:09 and your's is 9:09 but if you look at the forum clock it says 12:09.

Your post is time stamped for 6 10 am which is 6 hours from now. What causes that?

The time stamp that you see should be your time. Even though he posted this thread at 9:05 PM his time, it shows 11:05 PM for me and should show 12:05 for you Matt. Do you have your Time Zone set correctly? I don't see why my post would say 6:10 AM unless you have your location Time Zone set incorrectly.

It is set for Eastern Time(US & Canada). It has a time adjustment of 1.00 should that be 0?

My time is actually off by an hour. Maybe it has something to do with daylight savings?
