Not sure if anyone here is a die-hard De La Hoya fan or not (like me), but figured I'd ask. I plan on watching it -- can't wait!

I used to watch boxing, till I paid 50 bucks to see Tyson bite of Evander's ear and the match was canceled. I was never so pissed in my life, I thinkI could have beat Tyson's ass that night.....probably not

I love boxing, but I've been spending too much money on NES stuff recently, so I can't afford to get the ppv. I'm not a huge fan of either, I just love boxing. I want to see De La Hoya shut pretty boy's mouth, but I don't know if it will happen if it doesn't happen before the 7th.

Yeah, I'd love to De la Hoya beat the shit outta him personally (I hate trash talkers), but that's going to be an uphill battle. But if there's anyone who is determined enough to do it, it's Oscar.

Jason, this fight will likely go the distance, so I doubt we'll see too many antics. Although, Mayweather has been known to pull stunts before. He knows if he does that he'll be permanently suspended, so it's in his best interest to keep it clean.

I'm tipping Mayweather but really don't care to much either way. Can't afford to watch it anyway. I got the last 2 big fights that were on PPV in Australia, one of which was two Aussie's probbably not to many people know about but one of them, Anthony Mundine talks more crap than Mayweather almost.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Well, it's interesting because I watched the fight, and while I thought it was pretty good, there's no way in hell that Oscar should have even had a single judge side in his favor (which he did). You should have seen the look on Mayweather's face when Buffer announced a split decision. Even the HBO commentators were saying that the one judge was full of shit -- Oscar went all 12 rounds, but only won 4 of those rounds, and for a judge to side in his favor really stuck out like a sore thumb. But then again, the entire event was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions (De La Hoya's company), so I guess it could stand to reason that there was a little dirt involved.
