This is going to be one of those, first few sell for a ton, but thats it. After the hype is gone, it'll settle significantly less than its first few sales.

That's what I thought about the Megaman Press Kits. Sold my sealed one with original shipping box for only like $300. I've learned not to underestimate this modern stuff.

you're trying to compare Ducktales, a franchise of 2 games, to mega man?  This isn't comparing apples to apples, they're completely different.  Mega man has a GIANT fan base.

I haven't gotten any offers directly on mine yet (lots of people asking if I'm selling though), but I did hear a story from a guy on Reddit that knew of one selling to someone for $600, but it was a private sale and it sounded like the people selling didn't know much about collectors and such.

It would be interesting to throw it up on eBay with a ridiculous price just to see what happened though.

Then it would be the licensed game with fewer copies available (rarest NES game variant?) only 150 versus stadium events as I read that estimates range above that number.

What you guys think about it?

IF this was done during the life cycle of the system some would count it but being 2013 it can't possibly be considered an NES game. That window is closed.

It is definitely not a "bootleg" in any way, shape, or form.

It is licensed by the IP owner.  By definition that means it's not a bootleg.

Nintendo re-licensing the release, or not, has no impact on that fact.

The seller says it will probably be worth a million dollars in 20 years so it may be a good investment at $105k.

I'm not sure what these 2 items are worth but the sealed DK Math is worth far more than 5 Duck Tale press kits if you ask me.

Hi my friends,

I was wondering how much do you think a Ducktales Remastered Press Kit would cost? Just 150 units worldwide and Capcom are just giving away some in a couple of contest.

I don´t know if the press kit they are giving as reward are part of the 150 limited units or reprints.

How much do you think one of this would cost?

Probably the price will increase dramatically with years to come.

Regards!!

Someone in Nintendoage has win a copy yet?

- Dr Afrokid

There are more than 150 of those kits made. I think 150 were made for the contest but the press and who knows who else got them as well.

I'm sure that the 150 refers to the contest portion only. It IS after all a "press kit" meaning the press got them as well.

As I know the press kit giveaway are part of the 150 Press Kit made and not a second print or a special production to giveaway (just 150 copies including copies as prizes or press).

I would search for official info anyway to unsolve this, if you have something to support what you say I will appreciate you to post it.

Someone know something about it?

Regards.

Yes I own one.
It has the same certificate as yours but since it was not from a contest winner it is not numbered 1-150.
