The single-screen games were always "meh" to me. Part of that was due to to the fact that respective to the game, my scores consistently hit a certain cap. Has been that way for years, and since I don't active practice/play, I suspect it will remain that way.

This one is a breath of fresh air. The jumping mechanic felt cheap at first, but paired with the ability to corner, and the fact that the green ghosts jump with you, it feels pretty well-balanced.

That being said, some of the later titles in the franchise... *shudders*

You know what the real crime here is? I've been planning on titling one of my SNES threads "Electric BOOGERloo" for awhile now, and these threads are running that reference into the ground before it's time will come. Sons of bitches!

It's honestly hard for me to stay excited knowing that my astute participation has somehow landed me in the top 4, where I will be immediately eliminated, hah.

I am having this stupid idea of running the tournament by double elimination where top seed that loses in a round is sent to lower seed and lower seed that loses get eliminated.
Quite sure it will end up being a mess and with everyone hating the hell out of me and hoping I won't be hosting the contest next year, but I ought to try something new and fresh!
