Hey again, I finished another set of reproduction carts and wanted to show them off a bit. I'm pretty pleased with how these turned out and would like to hear some feedback on them. They are custom labels and Final Fantasy is the english translation. Look forward to your opinions! Thanks - OCD

PS: I'm aware this is the wrong place to sell something, but I don't want to have to many posts. That being said I have 2 copies of Zelda and 2 copies of FF2 for sale to anyone interested. Just PM if so and I'll send a transaction request. $30/per shipped.

I like them. Although the plain end label text doesn't look great, but they still look well.

Yes they are very glossy. The method I'm using is making them look quite nice I think. Thanks for the pointer on the plain type text. I agree there.

Awesome. Isn't that image on the label from FF III rather than FF II?

The front of the labels on both are very nice. Especially the Zelda one, regardless if the Ganon is or is not in Outlands. Also, it's already been said, but I agree, the end labels could be improved upon. Overall, very nice work. =)

Nice! I'm torn on the outlands (cart) label, I think some subtle background in the white/gray area would be cool, but then I like how the contrast from just having white makes it stand out...

I designed an Outlands label that has direct context to the game. if anyone wants to view it, check here:

http://atariusa.com/flashback/dis...
http://atariusa.com/flashback/dis...
http://atariusa.com/flashback/dis...

The photos are somewhat crummy, but that was intentional, as to prevent people from directly copying it. The Triforce is designed similar to the shield of the original game (including cracks) and its semblance on other artwork, and a fairy is present in its centre. I used the original game style for the text, and gave it a green colour to complete the R/B/G circuit.

The major flaw is that the word 'Zelda', which i had to hand-draw to match the original game label text is a bit too heavy, so I shall eventually re-master it and make it cleaner.

I would buy that Ganon label without the 'Outlands' text (and witht he actual 'Legend of Zelda' part number), if you could sell me a couple that way. It would also look better witht he Nintendo Entertainment Systen' red logo emblazoned on it. I think it would look very handsome on the original game, and I have one or three with damaged labels.

I like the 2nd label for Outlands. I would buy a repro that had that on the label, for sure.

Check out this really awesome WTB thread that I found, I heard this guy wants games at the cheapest rate possible!  Now on the look out for Unlicensed NES!

Hmm... Insofar as raw art, I still prefer the 'Ganon' label, and would love to have an edited version; or the source files to edit and send back to the originator. The artwork on the second label is from the NP 'Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past Player's Guide', in case you didn't know. It is from the 'The Legend' prologue chapter, and I think that scene is for 'Zelda II', although it may be from the panel about link exploring underworld labyrinths.
